A very charming and delicious visit to Greece - Edit
I was there with a group of about 30 people. We all were very friendly welcomed by the owner of the restaurant Nikos. He kept an eye on our well-being the whole time and asked us whether he could do something good for us. Besides that, he was pretty talkative and had some nice and funny chats with us.
Read moreThe food was very delicious. You see that Nikos's family is from Greece. The food has a lot of spices and my recommendation - the tzatziki - is perfectly balanced between the fresh garlic and cucumber and the softer taste of the yogurt.
The place itself is very charming. Even though it isn't the biggest restaurant, it is very chill and with the open kitchen, you always see how your food is made - how cool is that? Also, the little basement is perfect to get a short break from the all-day city-stress. And if you have a group you can also rent it for your event.
Overall the atmosphere is just overwhelmingly good and additionally, the owner has the best vibes in the universe to have a chat. And that everything is vegan makes this restaurant a little safe space for every vegan.

The portion size is extremely small. After two starters and a main dish I was still hungry. There was an overpowering taste of clove and a total lack of salt. 2 stars for freshness and presentation of the food.

Was so looking forward to this but the food was quite disappointing and expensive. I can’t recommend it all sadly, everything was room temperature and lacked the familiar flavors we were hoping for. The host did say that it was a new team, so maybe in a few months they will have a better selection but for now it’s a skip.

Disappointing and expensive - Edit
A fully vegan greek restaurant? Amazing and exciting - or so we thought. Ugh, I hate it when I have high expectations and they're not met. More than that, this was plainly disappointing. The dishes were tiny but super expensive, only lukewarm and to be honest the taste was average at best. Like, it was okay but I can get canned greek food in the supermarket for the same taste but much cheaper.

The guy (I think the owner) was super cheerful, chatty and attentive, but just a little over the top.

I think your comment is not honest or fair. You are giving a wrong impression of a place that is filled with love, passion and taste. Yes I agree 6 starters 3 people, if you are hungry greek tapas might not be your thing indeed. Those people that come with expactation that doesnt fit reality, especially in Mitte Berlin haha

We were looking for a coffee shop where we could work while drinking coffee, which is very hard to find in Berlin. But Nikos said we could write in his restaurant. After sitting there for an hour writing we got hungry and thought we would give vegan Greek food a try, and damn we weren’t disappointed!!! We had the moussaka and a pasta dish. It tasted like family dinner at a greek home! So authentic and so tasty! 5/5 stars for the atmosphere, 5/5 stars for the food … and 5/5 stars for the name

Die Speisekarte bietet eine beeindruckende Vielfalt an griechischen Köstlichkeiten, die alle vegan, glutenfreie, laktosefrei und weizenfrei sind. Die Qualität der Zutaten und die raffinierte Zubereitung haben mich wirklich beeindruckt.
Das Essen selbst war ein absoluter Genuss! Jeder Bissen war voller Aromen und zeugte von der Liebe zum Detail in der Küche, in der Johanna das sagen hat. Auch der Rotwein aus Griechenland, den mir Nikos empfohlen hat, war ein echtes Highlight!
Insgesamt war mein spontaner Besuch bei "The Crazy Little Greek" ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen und vergebe daher verdiente fünf Sterne! Ich freue mich schon darauf, bald wiederzukommen und weitere köstliche Spezialitäten zu probieren.
