Beautiful place, food and service is a 11/10! Clean and great music. Even has a swing for the late night loners. It’s hard to find food as a night owl vegan!!! Try if your ever around. Food for any time of day.

The Tofu arepa was very good; I added “sausage”. The plantains in it added a lot and were surprisingly good

Friendly Staff and Delicious Food - Edit
This place was very clean. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. It was raining very hard, and we were told that we could stay as long as we like, and our server came over and conversed with us and asked what brought us to Miami. He generally cared about our visit.

Delicious food - Edit
I’ve been here in Miami a few times and always complained about the food being horribly bland, but not the Cocinita! Everything was delicious and full of flavor! Definitely worth a visit.

Tasty Grub - Edit
We had the special fries, baked plantains, and burrito.
Read moreI did enjoy the burrito, but it wasn’t too special - but a good option if you’re in the mood.
The sauces on the fries were the highlight and the fries are packed pretty high! Great for sharing with 3 people.
The baked plantains were fine, but didn’t come with any dipping sauce or anything.

So Happy I Found Them! - Edit
I can see why this restaurant is one of the top rated vegan restaurants in Miami. I was so delighted to find this spot in a beauty and fun area of Miami, and the food was absolutely incredibly! The staff was welcoming and kind and the food was presented beautifully. The food was delicious and I will definitely return! I really loved the stuffed arepa, which I haven’t had since going vegan and something I would often eat in Miami in my pre-vegan days.

Came for arepas, stayed for the burger - Edit
First time in Miami and The Cocinita Miami immediately jumped out. Just a quick hop on the free Metromover to the chic Brickell neighborhood one over, and the delicious promise of vegan arepas.
Read moreAnd I end up getting a burger. Look, let me just get this out now, the people in Miami are gorgeous and when the person taking your order smiles a welcome to Miami and recommends a burger, you order a burger. Apparently, I’m not above that. In my defense, the burgers looked gorgeous too.
The Cocinita Miami is tucked in on 5th street, but the bright happy yellow of the window is hard to miss. When you order inside, you’ll be surrounded by herb planters and mushroom gardens. And when you take your number to a table outside, you’ll be surrounded by raised planters of kale, tomatoes, and peppers creating a makeshift patio around you. How cool is that?
Look, the burger was good, maybe slightly oversauced—they are not subtle here, but I came for arepas. So please, do me a favor, when you do come to the Cocinita, order the burger for me and two arepas. You won’t regret it.

I come here every time I visit Miami, usually multiple times - Edit
The food is so good and their whole vibe is what vegans in the city could be. Their dining area is framed by planters growing greens and herbs, they have sprouting trays in the bathrooms, and they make their own mushroom chocolate.

Adorable place with a large menu for such a tiny restaurant. They serve breakfast all day. I got the tofu scramble arepa with plantains and avocado: absolutely perfect, and it goes great with a bowl of soup. The owner is really nice!

Would go back again - Edit
I recently moved to Miami and have been checking out all the vegan/vegetarian options. I will definitely be going back to this place. I had the Yummy Burger and the Perrito (sausage). With the burger, the combo with the cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and sauces was 👌. I was happy to have the cheese. I am normally not a fan of vegan cheeses unless it’s specifically made with nuts (the ones I see in the stores have a weird artificial taste, imo). I forgot to say to leave the cheese off but it turned out really good and makes me want to explore more vegan cheeses since things have been processing in the area in recent years. The only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that the burger is a beyond burger. They should just say that instead of listing it as a pea protein burger. Minor thing but even though it worked out, I wasn’t really in the mood for a beyond burger at the time. The Perrito fortunately is what I think to be an in house sausage. This was also very good and the combination of toppings works out without any one overpowering the flavor. I’m very glad to see full vegan places throughout the city!

Great vegan spot in Brickell - Edit
I had the burrito which was great overall. The cauliflower meat is similar to Chipotle’s sofritas. It was a really good portion size. The fries were really good as well.

Go for the falafel burger! - Edit
I like places that offer burgers other than "meat" patty. We always go with the Falafel burger because it tastes amazing and another plus it's the one that costs less from their menu. Tastes fresh, and healthy. Even my mom that is a picky eater enjoys eating the falafel burger. The burrito is good as well, and my daughter loves their french fries! Even my sister and father love the food too!
