Comfortable place to relax and great food/drink selection. - Edit
Came for a late lunch, had Mushroom Stroganoff and my non-veggie partner had the Spicy Tacos. Both were great and filling. Ended up sharing a desert, which was also great. Loved that everything was Vegan, but they were also had lists of all ingredients and could avoid nightshades for me. Drink menu was huge, including fun non-alcohol options! Super nice and attentive service. Would definitely go again if I were in the area!

We came for a late lunch with family after a short hike. Only 2 people in our group of 7 are vegan, however every enjoyed their meals. My favorite is the burrito supreme.

A vegan restaurant and bar in one! - Edit
This would be such a cool place to have in your neighborhood. I would go here just to sit at the bar with a kombucha or a cider. Such a chill atmosphere. We ordered to go to eat at a friends house and they packed our food carefully. They have an extensive menu addendum that tells what allergens are in the different menu items including things like nightshades. Our food was delicious and the staff was great! They also have very cool merch.

I love the vibes at The Burrowing Owl! Unique decor and friendly staff, plus great drink options. The entire menu is vegan so there’s no need to analyze the menu before making a decision. Their desserts are amazing too

I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for 4 years now, and without a doubt, Burrowing Owl is the OG of the vegan food scene in Colorado Springs. Delicious and inexpensive vegan food, amazing drinks, and always 100% vegan. The best part is the owners give back to the vegan community by supporting up-and-coming vegan businesses (even food ones!) and they also run a non-profit animal rescue.

Ok I LOVE this place! The strawberry Basil alcohol drink is honestly my favorite alcohol drink in the world!!! Truly, it’s that good! Better than any tropical fancy drink I’ve had in Bali or Maui! And of course their food is amazing, air fryer only, no bad for you crappy oil, the people who work their are cooler than my friends, they have games to play, covered patio & it’s SUPER cute inside! Perfect for a family meal, a date, or getting wasted at the bar late night!

I got a sandwich with “bacon” peanut butter sauce, jam, pickles and chips on it. It was wayyy out of my comfort zone and I LOVED it. They are all for human rights and had cool vibes inside. An awesome place.

I remember them giving us the check on the cuuutest clipboard thing. I loved the vibe here. Edit: came back today (5/24/21) and they have no clipboard anymore lol. But it's as good as I remember! My non-vegan mom and other vegan family loved it! Perfect dinner for them.

Amazing ambience, friendly staff and an amazing selection of food, kombucha and beer. A must if you’re in the area!! Me and my partners had sloppy Joe’s, mac n cheese, split pea & rosemary soup, coffee, breakfast sammy and a cheesecake. They also have a heated porch if I visit in the cooler months.

I had high expectations for this place because of all the positive reviews which was really unfortunate. I went here for my birthday and got the stoner nachos which everyone raged about being amazing. They were so bland! I appreciate that they’re healthy but spices are healthy and encouraged lol. The adult chocolate milk was yummy at least but I won’t be back

Read moreThis place is freaking incredible!!! Seriously, this is hands down the coolest vegan place I’ve ever been to. The food is DELICIOUS! The drinks are PHENOMENAL! The vibes are IMMACULATE! I went for the first of six thousand times tonight and had the Sheppard Pie with side of Mac and cheese at the suggestion of the ✨w o n d e r f u l✨ server Amanda. My soul left my body and came back to eat more of that wonderful food. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Pros: EVERYTHING is vegan!, Kick ass music on the stereo!, Coolest bathroom I’ve ever been in!

This is such a great place to dine in. The scenery and vibe is immaculate. Food is always delicious too. Only downfall is that it is very pricey but that is expected of vegan food unfortunately. It’s a great place for friends and family and even my non-vegan friends love it! The nachos are the best.

Had the Thursday special chimichanga and it was amazing. Very filling and had lots beans and their homemade queso which is great. Also had side of chips and queso, seems like queso is bean-based but amazing nonetheless. Tried the BLT and it was the best fake bacon I've ever had. Their beer / drink menu is hard to choose from!

The noochos are fantastic! The mac and cheese is fantastic! The beer menu is extensive! The restaurant is super cute. The staff is super friendly! I wanna drive 16 hours back to Colorado just for this restaurant.
