Really tasty food, i never had potato in this way before. I got so exited so i forgot to take a picture. I hade a large (and it was large) potato with chilli (hot filling), butter and cheese. Its to bad that this is my last day in scotland otherwise i would go back tomorrow. It was not expensive for that big portion and was on the royal mile

We visited the Baked Potato Shop a couple of times during our stay in Edinburgh and it was great both times. The portions are really generous and it’s good value for such a central location. I tried the curried sweetcorn, chickpea salad and haggis toppings and they were all great.

The potatoes are great and you get a really good choice of fillings. Everything is clearly marked if vegan and you have a choice of vegan or dairy butter for the potatoes.

Very generous portions. There are labelled vegan fillings on the board including haggis, curry corn, Mexican corn and coleslaw. You get 1& a half jacket potatoes and you can choose how many toppings you get. I'm not sure if they had vegan butter, the girl who was working was a bit confusing and abrupt. Food was tasty though.

Completely inedible fillings - one with hummus that was completely tastless and had no seasoning and one with chilli that was so incredibly spicy that it was shocking they were selling it to customers. Also slow service for filling two potatoes. Who knew baked potatoes could go so wrong??
