I was doing a quick day trip to Kobe and stopped for a little afternoon tea break at Thallo. I had their carrot cake and Indian chai tea, as well as their sweet potato cheesecake for takeaway. The BEST vegan cheesecake I’ve ever add, the crust was so crispy and the filling so smooth! The carrot cake was also great, and I really liked how you are able to add the sugar to your tea, so you can get the sweetness exactly to your liking. A great, homey place to visit.

Quiet peaceful place to relax and enjoy super delicious vegan food. They’re pioneers in the area giving enlightenment to people about being vegan. When I visit Japan, I always have to stop here. I only have love for Vegan Cafe Thallo.

I came her for lunch with a friend and had the spinach quiche set with gluten-free bread (instead of rice). It was really good; the quiche was one of the best vegan ones I've ever had, and the gluten-free bread was a nice treat. The portion was slightly on the small side but we still left satisfied.

Very cute cafe! Staff speaks some english which made communication easy. My husband and i had the miso ramen set and came back later for the quiche. It was all very good, would definitely recommend especially with the limited options in this area.

The food at this cafe is decent, although the selection is not very large. The servers were friendly and I had no trouble communicating with them in English. Slightly out of the way from the center of town.

My mom and I came here a few days ago and the food was delicious! I got the special lunch plate which came with a quiche and omelette rice, and my mom got the ramen which came with a side of sushi. The quiche that came with my lunch plate was especially amazing! We ended our meals with a scoop of coconut vanilla icecream and matcha cake. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly!

Delicious all vegan food. Location is a little bit out of the way, but only a 5 minute walk from Kenchomae station. Omelette rice (omurice) was very convincing. Also sells some organic/whole grain merchandise. Was very pleased with the selection and taste. Will definitely visit again.
