We were under the impression that this was a counter service type place, but it’s a full, sit down restaurant. Service was very friendly, but exceedingly slow.

We went in starved, so rather than ordering the lunch special, we ordered the full sized meal, anticipating that we’d need a little extra. The portions were so tiny, I can’t imagine how small the lunch must’ve been. #Veganuary

It's tough to find authentic Thai food, made with all of the flavors and spices you find in Thailand. We were THRILLED to find it in Albuquerque -- and beyond THRILLED to learn that the best Thai food in town was vegan. Our only complaint was how hard it was to decide what to order. Everything was perfect, from the tom yum soup to the curries, A+++. Thank you, Thai Vegan, for existing!

Best Vegan Thai Cuisine Ever - Edit
This was by far my best vegan experience to date. We have been all over the US and tried many different restaurants touted by Happy Coq and this gets my top vote. Vegan protein choices abound here, as well as top notch flavor profiles all the way down to the teas. Our lunch specials included a salad, 2 spring rolls, brown rice, 2 dipping/dressing choices and entrees sweet n sour w/soy chicken, and mixed vegetables/tofu.

An absolute MUST TRY if you visit Albuquerque. The food is a bit expensive, but you get large portions (all the better for leftovers). The Tom Ka Soup is my favorite.

Absolutely delicious. We ordered the golden tofu, orange chicken, sweet and sour, and pararam plate. Pararam plate was my favorite (LD14 or 15). Also the Thai coffee and the Thai tea were very good. Thai Vegan is a must try, probably the best Thai food we’ve had from all of our travels.

Spicy Fried Rice - ordered with soy fish at a 4 spice level. It was hella spicy and I loved every single bite of it. The flavors were phenomenal and the vegan fish was quite tasty.
I cannot wait to drive through ABQ again so that I can try more of their amazing all vegan menu.

I have been here a few times and have left with a happy belly each time. Honestly my only "complaint" is that the soy shrimp doesn't really have much flavor. Albuquerque doesn't have many full vegan restaurants so Thai Vegan is really a treat.
