Great Brunch Spot - Edit

They have a nice big menu with lots of interesting choices. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. There are also some excellent pastries available.

Teva or Deli, both YES! - Edit

The vegan feijoada was tasty and not heavy. Some menu options are the same as from Teva, but a lot more options, even though many, specially desserts, sadly have gluten. The iced latte was a good call for such a warm day.

Amazing vegan pastries! - Edit

Really yummy vegan pastries, the absolute best almond croissant I've ever tasted. The savoury croissant was also delicious as well as the croque monsieur. Very good oat milk for coffee. Also has a deli where you can buy some vegan meats and cheeses etc.. as well as a little dry goods store. Highly recommend.

Top Vegan Restaurant in Rio - Edit

Top vegan option in Rio with the best options. Amazing pastries and cakes. Love all the sandwiches I've tried. I can't wait to try more dishes here. The service is great. The food is made with amazing flavor and care.

Run don’t walk! - Edit

This gorgeous little deli has everything! Cute interior, little shop to buy your vegan goods, lovely staff and 11/10 food.

We tried the Amazonika burger and the pastrami and both were incredible.

We loved this place so much we went to their restaurant in Ipanema the following day!

We only wish we had space for a croissant or two.

Deli 100% vegana de alto padrão em Copacabana - Edit

Definitivamente é um lugar a se recomendar a veganos e ainda não veganos que moram ou estão de passagem pelo Rio de Janeiro.
O local é muito agradável e a qualidade dos produtos costuma ser impecável (já fiz algumas visitas).
Na visita da foto a estrela foi o cogumelo Benedict, realmente surpreendente. O croissant de amêndoas também é um dos meus favoritos, mas atualmente é difícil visitar a Déli e não pensar em pedir o Croque Monsieur - ele é incrível. Vale mencionar que são variadas as opções de cafés e bebidas.
Uma dica que não cheguei a ver nos outros comentários é que apesar de Deli, o local também oferece refeições com a qualidade Teva, da sede original de Ipanema.

We had a pain au Chocolat, a palm heart and a tapioca with smoked tofu, muzzarella, tomato and oregano. With cappuccino and tea. Everything was delicious! We'll defenetly be going back tomorow!

Favorite vegan breakfast - Edit

We loved coming here - friendly service - the breakfast croissants are SO good, can’t go wrong. Personally wasn’t a fan of the tapioca crepe. We have had the breakfast tofu croissants each day as they are so yummy! Highly recommend

Very good indeed, but too expensive as a deli - Edit

The smoked tofu tapioca is probably the best filling of any tapioca I ever had (and I love tapiocas), and the apple crumble was very good indeed. Coffee was decent, as was the smoothie. The muffin however was disappointing - whilst the giant Portobello and the sauce was lovely, the tofu was the tiniest sliver you could imagine, and the home-made muffin itself was borderline inedible. The ice cream in the affogato was far too icy, a similar problem to the ice cream in Teva itself last night.

I counted twelve staff front of house, not including those in the kitchen, so service was clearly on-point. I don't think any of them spoke English, though there is a full English menu. Drinks prices are outrageous as at full Teva.

With a tip in excess of the usual 10%, brunchy breakfast for two was well north of 200 reals. For that price I could have done the unlimited breakfast buffet for five people at my European chain hotel. It's a tall order to justify at these prices, except as a very special treat.

Smoked mushroom and fake mozarella tapioca, opened for the photo. Tapioca itself was decent enough, but the filling elevated it to make it the best tapioca I've ever had. at Teva Deli in Rio De Janeiro

Best Brunch in Rio ! - Edit

I travel a lot and was so happy to find this hidden jem. It’s brand new and I’ve already eaten here twice ! The food is amazing, with so many options I keep coming back to try different dishes. The menu is diverse, and offers so many choices, from sweet to savory, gluten free options and proteins and organic !! It’s the best brunch in Rio, from the genius of Teva Restaurant (my favorite dinner place)

A-ma-zing! - Edit

To give you an idea of how amazing Teva Deli is, we went 3 times during our 48-hour stay in Rio. So many options (all vegan, gluten-free options, soy-free options, ...), all as delicious as each other. We loved the tapiocas, the waffles, the bread options, the pão de queijo, and everything else we ordered. Highly recommended!

Amazing choice of vegan brunch - Edit

The menu is so big ! We had a fake han sandwich, an empanada, one typical brazilian dish (tapioca), ice cream and a cinnamon bun. Very tasty! They also sell jam, chocolate, lemonades on a shelf. We will definitely come back !
