Mouth-watering food - Edit
The creator of this place is obviously a genius. Every thing I’ve ever eaten there has been heavenly. All vegan options are clearly indicated as PB (plant-based) and there are a lot of options thankfully. If she makes such amazing vegan stuff she should just stick to that and stop including innocent animals in her other dishes
Read moreThe drinks are really amazing and well done. We always go for the sangria which never fails.
The staff however are not the friendliest but I guess it’s because it’s a well known upmarket establishment. The other branch of this place ‘Flax and Kale’ has a much friendlier atmosphere and less stressed front of house.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Best sangrias and all round drink options , Upmarket and classy for a romantic night out
Cons: Pricey , Book in advance or you might not get a table, Seating

Extremely Delicious! - Edit
We had a fabulous dinner - and found our first efficient and very quick service in the country! Many many vegan options are on the menu, which is helpfully labeled. We loved the: Healthy Nachos, Olives, Tofu Avocado Tartare, Kate Salad, Tofu Shiitake Eggplant Teriyaki, Lotus Chips, and a delicious potato dish. And, The service and kitchen speed was fabulous. Would return in a heartbeat - only wish it was 100% plant-based.

I went here for breakfast with my boyfriend. We are both vegan and he also doesnt eat gluten - but there were soooo many options for us to choose from. We had the portobello sandwich, blueberry muffin, and soy yoghurt parfait. The dishes looked beautiful and tasted even better! The prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try!

Speechless - Edit
When trying to describe this place to a friend I was just lost for words. This place is just perfect. Really. I had 5 vegan (they have a very big vegan selection) dishes in total and each was just 200% stunning. It really feels that the ingredients are fresh and that food is cooked fresh without the sence of too much added oil or salt meaning it’s pretty healthy and seasoned well. The dishes are original seems there was a lot of thought put into it. The staff are super nice, efficient and quick and the atmosphere is just perfect.

Same great restaurant, even after 5 years - Edit
We made it a point to came back here, since the food was so good last time we were here. Dishes are of high quality, with creativity and great flavors. One dish was not prepared properly to our liking, and the staff did not charge us for it. Great service! A must-visit in Barcelona!

Excellent! - Edit
We had a wonderful experience here during our trip to Spain. The waitstaff was very nice and attentive and, most importantly, put up with our poor language skills. The food was excellent!! It is a little pricey, but worth it .

Good Vegan Ice-cream, awful food - Edit
Either we ordered the wrong food - or it's not for our taste. I could have sworn the noodles & cashew dish was coated in Vegemite. Awful tasting pretentious food. The Vegan ice-cream rocked though.

very loud when I visited. but worth it. I had a small tapa with a bomba de la Barcelona and olives. this bomb was very nice. I had to order more of it. and the selva Negra vegan cake.. wow. I would come back for it.

it is always bittersweet to have amazing vegan food at a place that supports the cruel industries of dairy and eggs

This team knows what they're doing - Edit
Me and my friend decided to give their new year's eve menu a go, and we were indeed happy we did! It consisted of four starters, including a lovely quinoa salad with berries and miso dressing, corazón partío (artichoke with tempeh), and other delicacies. As a main course we both chose the lasagne, which we found to be juicy and yummy! Our opinions diverge when it comes to the dessert, a millefeuille that I enjoyed just as much as everything else, while my friend felt somewhat disappointed. For 50 euros, and including an appetizer, some drinks and (sadly bland) truffles, it was certainly a very good deal, especially for such an, ahem, special night.

Busy, popular, so many options - Edit
Recommend by Vegans, vegetarians and non vegetarians. This is a popular and well known place in Barca for locals as well as tourists.
Read moreThey have a long table for those dining alone. Great idea. Love this. Sat with an Astro physicist in town for an international conference.. fantastic!!!
The waiter was extremely attentive and service fast.
So many options, probably 60/40 vegetarian/ vegan.
I actually went twice during my visit just to try more.
Had an eggplant roll creation to start, really yummy and beautifully presented, then a tofu and eggplant dish that was crispy and delicious. Both course had great flavour, well balanced and quite hearty.
Ordered the Mille Feuille for dessert, sadly this wasn’t great. Tasted waxy and not fresh somehow. This dish should be light and delicate-a definite miss.
That said I went back a second time just to try the lasagne which was fantastic!!
Overall I loved this place, great energy.
Doing vegetarian and vegan food really well.
Love that non veg people eat here too just because it’s good food!
Pros: So many options , Yummy food, Service staff very into it
Cons: Pastry dessert was average to poor

Top vegan cuisine - Edit
Surely one of the most popular and high quality places on town. Loads of vegan options and a lot of experience as this place is opened since the 80s, at least the original place of course. Very wide place in central Barcelona, the food is not only tasty but very healthy. Many vegan and gluten free options

Pricey but delicious. - Edit
If you are on a budget holiday then may be worth giving this place a miss however if you are wanting a three course meal and happy to spend the money then this is the place to do so. We had nachos and bruschetta to start, lasagne for main and a chocolate cake and a snowflake cake for dessert. The portions look small but are surprisingly filling and honestly we could have done without dessert. The lasagne was a definite recommend which is lucky as it is one of the few vegan options (I don't like salad). My partner asked if he could have the seitan burger without cheese but turned out there was egg in the burger. Plenty of options if you are vegetarian. This place has the best tasting tomatoes so when they ask if you want bread say yes to with tomatoes. It cost us 60 euros for the starter, main, dessert and drinks which is more expensive than we would usually pay but I don't regret it. One thing I will comment on is the service- it's not bad service and the waiters are very helpful however depending on how you like your eating experience you will love or hate it. The service is very quick on the upside this means you never wait long for your food on the downside this means that you can't sit and enjoy the experience as much as you will be finished quite quickly. This didn't bother us but I can see why people might feel rushed or might not like this. Just a tip as well- they will charge for water for the table.

Good But Not Great - Quality Does Not Match The Price - Edit
The food in this restaurant is good. Not great. Not very good. But good. If you have a lot of money to burn and do not know how to cook and are not too picky, you will love it here. But the food is extraordinarily overpriced and the value (of both the culinary quality, the flavor, and the quantity) do not match the price tag. The chef/owner obviously thinks a lot of herself, and has even written a cookbook. But for some reason she does not even know how to make guacamole...For some reason she thinks guacamole is just mashed avocado...And when you pay 15 euros for 3 small tacos and guacamole is one of the few things you are getting with them, you would expect it be real guacamole, with flavor. But what I got had absolutely no flavor at all. They had not added any kind of seasonings what so ever. Not even salt or lime juice. As a chef myself I know that this is not technically guacamole, and should not be called guacamole. I'm not sure where Teresa trained, but something is off. And also the tomatos that were in my taco's did not seem fresh at all. And one of my tacos did not have any cilantro on it, which is listed as one of the key ingredients. But my food did taste good and I enjoyed it. But at these prices I feel as though the food needs to be held to a much higher standard than it is. So I have to take off one star for the fake flavorless "guacamole", and one star for the outrageous prices that do not match the quality or quantity.
Pros: Vegan Options, Healthy, Tasty
Cons: Overpriced, Fake Flavorless Guacamole, Small Portions
