Absolute best London restaurant! - Edit
We go there a lot! Food is always incredible and considering the amount and quality of food and it’s actually very good value for money. Do the tasting menus! The tiramisu is out of this world. Perfect for date nights or when you want to shut up your skeptical omnivore friends.

Never disappoints - Edit
I’ve been to Tendril’s many times and it just always blows me away on every level. The service is always the friendliest ever, the music is always great and the FOOD is next level. Every dish is gorgeous and unique. I also took my family who are big vegan skeptics and they fell totally in love too. Make sure you get the tiramisu!!

Wonderful - Edit
Fabulous brunch tasting menu. Flavours were unusual and amazing and service was both slick and warm. The decor is lovely as well. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really don’t understand the ‘almost vegan’ concept however. There is no need for any dairy as the flavours are so good.

Absolutely incredible tasting menu. Worth every penny. So many different flavours and loved the focus on plants, we loved rating each course after we had tried them. Some not as good as others but through our personal preference.
Read moreService was second to none, very attentive and there wasn’t huge gaps between each course which can sometimes happen with tasting menus.
I also love the (a mostly vegan) and story behind where tendril started. We would certainly head back - be sure to book a table.
Pros: Well priced, Attentive staff, Great location

Veg focussed and delicious menu, changes frequently. The tasting menu contained lots of delicious courses highlighting the best seasonal vegetables had to offer. The sticky toffee pudding dessert was a highlight!

Best food experience in my life - Edit
Honestly the title says it all. We’ve been to Tendril to celebrate job promotions and it was impossible for both of us to imagine what we were going to eat. Every dish was special, I can’t even pick a favourite. And the waitress was just the cherry on the top!

Creative and delicious tasting menu - Edit
I like to visit Tendril every time they bring out a new tasting menu. I am always amazed by their creativity and the flavours they manage to bring to each dish. The wine list is also really well thought out.

Creative options - Edit
Fantastic range of options, I went with a group of colleagues and we tried one of everything. The menu changes regularly, so sometimes more vegan options are available and sometimes fewer. Non vegan is clearly labelled on the menu.

Tendril is pricey, but worth it for a nice dinner out. I love a set menu, and it did not disappoint. The food just kept coming, and even though each course was small, we were stuffed by the end. Highly recommend!

Set taster menu takes the hassle out of choosing - Edit
The set menu is a little pricey but features plenty of dishes, all beautiful and great for sharing. Most of the dishes are vegan, there’s one vegetarian main dish choice. I liked that vegetables and beans are the star of the show. Beautiful cooked and presented, no highly processed meat alternatives in sight. Beautiful. Service was attentive, the drinks menu is extensive and the decor modern & natural making this a slightly upscale eating out affair.

Fine vegan dinning at a great price - Edit
Everything I tasted was fantastic.
Read moreLoved the Jerusalem artichokes, wakame and cucumber, such a fine and complementary taste and texture. Dived into the White bean spread, chilli, garlic with the hot accompanying pittas and ate it all. Delicious. And as a main course I had the Chipotle mushroom, potato crisps and grilled leek which was very very good.
Ended with their famous tiramisu and I can see why! Mouthwatering. Definitely leave some space to have one!
Also, loved the place. The lighting is low, good for a romantic date (ask for a sitting at the back room), but there’s also a bar and high tables for a more fun experience.
Very friendly staff who explained everything about the food and wine.
You can choose between a tasting menu or a La carte (check for days and times it’s available).
Pros: Excellent value for money

Flavour-sensation tasting menu - Edit
Tendril is an up market restaurant, perfect for celebrating special occasions. We opted for the tasting menu, and we're treated to a fabulously flavoursome feast. The smoky babaganush dip was a show-stopper, and I never knew swede could be transformed into such succulent skewers. The only downside was we felt rushed - there was barely enough time to digest between each course. The food is worth it though!

Elegant & Elevated Vegan Dining Experience - Edit
The title sums up our evening at Tendril. Each course in the preset menu had incredible depth of flavor and texture. It was surprisingly nice to not have to think about what to order.
Read moreThe courses were very nicely paced and we never felt rushed. The service was impeccable and the staff was very friendly.
In addition to the menu items, we were also served an amuse-bouche to start our evening and a small chocolate truffle when the bill arrived. I was so full by then but couldn’t resist, and the truffle did not disappoint!
Our favorite dishes were the grilled celeriac skewers and for the main dish, the grilled mushroom and smoked potato pie. Not only was the presentation of the pie something to see, but the dish was amazing! We also enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert. #Veganuary

Fantastic menu and great service - Edit
We went for dinner at Tendril and had the festive set menu for two.
Read moreThere is not a lot of signage so the premises are easy to miss when first walking past. Inside the atmosphere is very calm and cosy and you’d never think you were just a few steps away from the chaos of Regents Street. All the staff we encountered during our time there were lovely, knowledgeable and very helpful.
The food itself was great. To start with we had an artichoke and cucumber amuse bouche, followed by three sharing dishes (aubergine, Kalamata olives and tahini; lentil parfait and pickled cauliflower stalk with aioli), served with sourdough bread. The portions were a great size to get a substantial taste without filling you up too much. For the next course I had roasted squash with a potato crumb, my husband had the non-vegan sesame feta with chilli honey, both of which were delicious. Next we had celeriac and harissa skewers which tasted really festive and fit the Christmas menu perfectly. Our final savoury course was a mushroom and smoked potato pie, served with a butterbean purée and chive emulsion, which was also very tasty.
For dessert, we had sticky toffee pudding which was light and very flavourful. And because we were celebrating a special occasion, they brought us a portion of vegan tiramisu with a candle in which was a lovely touch.
Overall a lovely menu with a great variety of vegan foods and flavours, wonderfully presented. The standout for me was the pickled cauliflower with aioli, it was a very clever and balanced dish which I could’ve eaten a lot more of because of the delicious combination of flavours.
Personally I really don’t like the “A (mostly) vegan kitchen & bar” tagline that appears alongside the name everywhere - it cheapens the place a bit and feels like a statement of non-commitment to vegan cuisine. I also feel the place is undersold by calling it a ‘Kitchen & Bar’ rather than just being known as a restaurant. It feels far more classy than that label. I certainly wasn’t expecting the quality we ended up getting, based on that alone. ‘Tendril’ on its own would feel much more elegant in my opinion. #Veganuary
Pros: Great food, Lovely atmosphere, Brilliant service
Cons: Cheesy “mostly vegan” tagline everywhere
