Tattoos, veganism and fun! - Edit
I wandered in here on account of the Vegan Pop Up Flea Market, and was so intrigued by the stickers on the walls, arts and crafts and adult coloring books, and the very vegan friendly menu that I got a table. Ordered a Fried Chikn and Fried Pickle sandwich, and washed it down with a Mango 🥭 Boba rita...love the theme “Meatless Mondays” I saw on the menu, and I felt just as relaxed as I would’ve at a completely vegan spot. I can’t wait to come back for Perogies!!

Philly Cheesesteak - Edit
Loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. Ordered a bubbly mango margarita and was pleasantly surprised by the little balls filled with deliciousness in the bottom of my perfect cocktail.
Read moreThen the philly cheesesteak arrived!! I ordered the vegan one but with real cheese because I am not the biggest fan of vegan cheese. It looked and smelled like the real deal, so I made my dinner buddy taste it first.... he couldn't tell if it was real meat or not. Made the waitress confirm it was not real meat before I took the first bite and it was so delicious!!!!! It messed with my head but I didn't get sick, so I know it wasn't meat!
Oh, and Dave got the Beyond Moms Burger and he said it was delicious!!
Pros: So many vegan options!!!, Delicious! Great staff!
Cons: Can't think of a single con

Great drinks and great food! - Edit
I had the pop rocket drink and the cotton candy cosmo drink! Both of which were delicious! To eat I had the pickle fried chick’n sandwich which was absolutely delicious! Even my friend who is Omni couldn’t tell if it was real or vegan! Would definitely go back, awesome atmosphere and good weeknight specials, Monday is half priced on the vegan meals!

Good Food, Rough Night - Edit
Lots of vegan options, everything was clearly marked, and all the food was really good. However, tonight they must be really understaffed or something. Service was really lacking and they stopped taking food orders (I have never been to a place that's had to do that). I would come again though for the food at this price. Definitely worth another shot; I'm guessing they just had a bad night.

Get the BBQ tots and a "tattooed rosé" negroni at this eclectic spot. My waitress even happened to be wearing a shirt from my fav veg spot in my hometown.

My go to bar - Edit
I’ve lived in Philly for years and this is the spot for cheap vegan food and drinks. Hands down my fave for a fun night out. Did I mention they have V Cheez tots with jalapeños?! I’ve met wonderful people here and have amazing memories here too. Just go! Oh and you can listen to jawbreaker on the jukebox and cry if you wanna.

Fun Chill Night With Friends - Edit
This is a really fun bar to have a night with all your friends. It’s purposely a dive aesthetic, which makes for some great pictures. All vegan options are clearly marked. I recommend getting the cheesy fries!
Read moreBeyond that there are some really fun drinks. I recommend the cosmo cloud (they pour your cosmo over cotton candy!) and head upstairs to the pool table area.

Fun vibe and great to bring non-vegan friends - Edit
My mom and I were Philly and wanted to try Philly cheese steak and were both able to at Tattooed Mom (I’m vegan and she’s not). Lots of creative vegan options on the menu, and at reasonable prices. All of it is pretty junk-foody, though. The vibe is super eccentric and surprisingly isn’t excessively loud!

They have many vegan options. Tasty food with half price meatless Monday specials. Good convenient hours. They could be more accommodating to people with simple requests.

Philly Staple! - Edit
This is a long running favorite bar of mine. The staff is great and the vegan/vegetarian food is awesome! They do half price vegan/vegetarian food on Mondays and even though they still serve meat options, their veg selection is quite large.

Check out Meatless Monday for Half Priced Vegan Dishes! - Edit
We really enjoyed it. We checked out this place during our most recent visit to Philly. Went a couple of times, and picked up food to go as well. Tried the waffle fries, Blackened Chicken Sandwich; Pickled Chicken Sandwich; Philly Cheesesteak; and the $1 vegan black bean tacos on Taco Tuesday. The Chicken Sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and deserve a 5 star rating. The Philly Cheese was fine, but a little dry (like the Philly at Wiz Kids best). Not to mention the fact all of the vegan items are fairly reasonable in price $3.75-10.00, and are all half priced on Mondays (making them $1.88-5.00). I don't know why the place wasn't at capacity when we stopped by on Monday! If I lived in Philly, pretty sure this would be my go to place on Mondays. We tried Taco Tuesday as well, and the tacos weren't bad. They have several other weekday/night specials (No specials Fri-Sat). Will post a photo. For folks with children -- kids are not allowed in after 7:00. We will be back!

Jackpot! - Edit
Vegan-friendly and good vibes? Sign me up! These place is so fun and endlessly entertaining to look at the walls and spread of little toys on your table. The Blackened Chick'n sandwich is bomb and their waffle fries and tots are to die for. Bonus points for vegan pierogies. Vegan options are clearly labeled. Specials every day of the week except Saturday, my favorite obviously being Meatless Monday where the whole veg menu is half off! They often host fun events upstairs as well, often veg-centric. The staff here are excellent- very friendly, knowledgable and efficient.

Creative dive bar with lots of vegan options - Edit
This place is fun and definitely a blast from the past to my punk rock days. It's a dive bar, but clean, with attentive staff, fun themes, and food & drink specials. For instance, Sundays is Arts and Crafts day with 1/2 off Tot orders. They have lollipops on every table, cute little plastic rings, and fake tattoos to have fun with.
Read moreThe drinks are really fun, many are sugary, but they're delicious. The Kitty Tiki drink comes with the option of keeping the adorable cat mug the drink comes in, huge plus since I'm a sucker for anything cat shaped! I also tried the Hawaiian shaved ice drink and pop rock drink, all super good. For food, I decided on the vegan pickle chicken sandwich with spicy vegan mayo and it was delicious!
If you're into a fun, punk rock bar, this is your haven. Check the website for specials and themes. Will be back on my next visit to Philly.

It was ok and interesting - Edit
it's a bar, so its bar food firstly. the burgers on Wed was $4 and my husband had 2. Not because it was great. Because it was $4. As another reviewersaid its alot like a freezer ale burger. But it was warm. people raved about the Tots...but they were just tots. I also had the Fried pickle burger which was really good at $9.50 wouldnt specifically buy it again, but it was enjoyable for a non vegan chic sandwich.

Ok, not great - Edit
I went on a Wednesday so the good thing was you could get a vegan burger for $4. The bad news was the burger really wasn't that good, tasted like one of the ones you'd find in any freezer aisle. Most of the veggie stuff wasn't vegan, including the tots they are known for! Did like the ambience, it was a cool place.

Mixed opinions... - Edit
I have to say that this is a bar with bar food and the fact that they include vegan bar food is amazing. My opinions are only partially valid because 1, the place was CRAZY busy when I was there and 2, I am not a greasy food fan. I tried the vegan cheese steak and was happy to be able to actually have a typical Philly food since I grew up there. It was definitely overpriced, especially considering the fact that it did not come with the cheese, you had to add that for an extra charge. It also did not come with fries or anything, so that was yet another charge. I would have rather things be priced higher and include those things rather than me seeing that I have to add to my already expensive sandwich. Needless to say, the food was really good. I also had the salsa and guac, which was awesome. I am glad to have visited and I know I can bring people here if I am with non vegan friends and in search of a bar. I would say this place is a good hangover place.

Vegan Burger and Tots Tots Tots Tots Tots - Edit
Would give 5 stars if happy cow allowed it for non-vegan restaurants! First off, the tots, they're amazing, secondly, the tots. Overall has a bunch of Vegan and Vegetarian options, good beers and great cocktails. Does half off the whole vegetarian menu for meatless Mondays and has a Vegetarian option that can be made Vegan for their $1 taco Tuesday and my favorite is Wednesday they do a $3.50 veggie burger that I get Vegan and they have a whole bunch of toppings to add on. Don't forget though, Tots, Tots and more Tots! Never had a problem with them smell other then when in the bathroom but that's a given and first off, it's a dive bar, fun place with a good jukebox and excellent food, if you don't feel comfortable at a dive bar then you're gonna miss out on a lot of good food and drinks, as simple as that.

Great vegan cheese steak - Edit
Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviewer - the downstairs smelled a little like vomit, obviously one of the last things you want to smell while sitting down to dinner (or anywhere for that matter.)
Read moreThe vegan cheese steak, although over priced in my opinion (about $10 for a small hoagie roll with beef flavored seitan and daiya cheese) was very good, and I'll probably get one to go next time I'm in Philly.
