Everything on the menu is 100% vegan and local. We stayed in the area for a month and visited at least 4 times a week, sometimes for lunch and dinner. The food is so good, made by the waiter's wife in their cute little outdoor kitchen, and the restaurant is placed in the nicest little garden away from the noise of the busy street. The martabak is the best starter, and I absolutely love the vegan pancakes with coconut ice cream for dessert! Also the Mie goreng and nasi goreng! And the cookies are so good! Oh and everything is super cheap compared to everything else we found in Bali, the most expensive dish is 40k! Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I just keep coming back here. The Balinese couple that run the restaurant are so amazing and make you feel so at home.
Read moreThis time round we did a cooking class with them, and we were not disappointed. We learnt how to cook our favourite Indonesian dishes and were well and truely stuffed from all the food we cooked and ate.
Can not recommend Tasty Vegan more highly as a place to eat.

My partner and I love this place so much we continue to return every time we're in Bali. Decent portions and absolutely delicious. We usually get two entrees and two mains plus juices for well under AUD $20 all up. The staff are super friendly too. Don't go past the Mie Goreng and sate - they were our staple. Can't wait to return :)

Do yourself a favour and just visit this place. It's so cheap and great tasting you're not really loosing anything. And if you seriously don't like it. The most you'd be out of pocket for a meal and a drink is 45k $4.50 aud

It’s a little bit hidden out the way and the restaurant is very small only a few tables. The business is family run. It’s very beautiful surrounded by trees. The gentleman who served us was very welcoming and the food was very tasty especially the satay soya protein they had as the appetizier. And be sure to take some home made vegan cookies home with you they taste amazing

I had such an amazing time here. I got the mie goreng (35k) and a mango juice (15k). Both were delicious. Also a beautiful and peaceful location with such a friendly staff. Couldn't recommend enough.

Read moreMe and my husband visited this placering and tried the soup with soy protein, pizza and sate skewers. While my soup wasn't the top-notch (it was okay I'd say), pizza and skewers were very filling and delicious. They also make a variety of juices costing only 15k. Delicious and fresh.

Delicious fresh food, fantastic service with lovely staff and über cheap. The sate skewers and coconut ice cream are a must! We stayed nearby so didn't find it at all difficult to locate. Gorgeous surroundings with garden and water feature.

It might be a bit difficult to find but it is sooo worth it! Healthy, fresh food in a peacefull setting. Very affordable and a must go once you hit the crowded Legian. We visited this peaceful little place twice, and i would recomend it to everyone.

The food is lovely and I even enjoyed the tempeh (which every other time I have tried it elsewhere I found it inedible so definitely not usually a fan!) Beautiful quiet little garden and very friendly and warm staff. Not sure if it was there before but they have also put a pointer arrow on the main street as well as a sign on the initial gate. From there you just walk towards the left and through concrete door which can be a little dark at night. Highly recommended!

It was really difficult to find vegan food in Kuta. Tasty Vegan is just perfect: great food, really cheap (less USD 2) and clean. Don't waste your time and money asking the restaurants to cook something whithout meat, eggs and fish/oyster souce. Just go to Tasty Vegan! ;-)

Lovely, peaceful place to rest a little bit. I was the only one but that didn't matter, the owner is great. Ordered the gado-gado which was very nice, only the tofu was a little bit too soft. Came back the day after for some pisang goreng which was a plate full!

Best Vegan food in Seminyak - Edit
Little tricky to find but definately worth it. I used Google maps but there is a YouTube video on their Facebook page. The Sate is so good, and the vegan ice cream is good too,nice friendly owner and good value for money.
