I went there with high hopes, it's an hour drive fron where I stayed. But sadly they didn't live up to my expectations. The satay's texture is too watery and it just tastes sweet from the kecap manis. The chikpea omelette tastes weird. Foreign tourists seem to like it, maybe because they're not used to the taste of real Indonesian food.

Fabulous family run Vegan restaurant staff are super friendly, food is quick to come and really tasty. The prices are well within the locals budget so don’t forget to tip 👍🙌 check out the last three photos for the signs!

The staff here are so friendly and we loved sitting outside of a night, they even gave us some mosquito spray ❤️ it! The food was amazing! You should try the Satay for starters! Definitely worth getting lost on the roads trying to find it. Don’t give up you will be so pleasantly surprised once you found Tasty Vegan!

The ambiance was so relaxing. Bamboo wind chimes, water fountains, birds chirping, and most importantly, away from the noisy streets of Seminyak... couldn’t ask for a better location. All of the food looked so good that I wanted to try multiple dishes, but it was just myself, so I couldn’t possibly have finished everything — I almost couldn’t finish my meal, which was the GADO GADO, a sweet and savory dish of tempeh, tofu, and steamed vegetables covered in peanut sauce. I will definitely be making this dish when I return home.

We had 2 vegan burgers, 1 mee goreen, 3 juices, sate kebabs, tempeh, and ice cream! The biggest feast for $27.
Turned 3 hangry vegans into happy vegans!
Best home made ice cream too! So tasty! Food was that great we forgot to take photos, way too excited!

Ok. Just a few words. Go there! You won’t regret it! Awesome affordable food! Take the Sate and a fresh pressed orange juice! It took nearly 38.2 seconds until my starter arrived. No words needed!

We found this place easily enough (there’s a huge sign saying Tasty Vegan out on the main road that you can’t miss!) and so glad we did. The family who run it are so incredibly sweet. The food was good, the satay seitan was amazing and noodle soup with crispy wontons was also good. Very reasonably priced. The staff are the main reason I would come back here - we were there for only a short time and in that time the owners had lent another table with kids some hand puppets to play with and had offered another customer his own rain jacket to wear home as it was raining. Truly kind people making amazing food, lovely energy to be around, definitely try it out
