Great coffee and smoothie bowls

We went to Taste every day as we loved the coffee, smoothie bowls, and peanut butter and banana sandwiches. The staff are really friendly and they’re happy to give tips of what to see and do in the area.

Pros: Delicious food , Good coffee

Great smoothie bowls!!

This place is a must for breakfast time. They have a selection of 4 smoothie bowls and sometimes they’ll have a banana muffin, they also have 2 sandwiches (banana, jam, peanut butter combos)

They are still recovering from COVID so they have no savoury options for lunch or dinner but they are open until late if you wanted to chill and have a coffee.

THEIR CHOCOLATE MILK WAS INSANE!!!

Pros: Great smoothie bowls , Great coffee selection , Lovely seating area

Cons: Recovering from covid / small menu

Awesome for breakfast, but still recovering

This place is only all-vegan restaurant in El Nido (as of May 2022), and everything we had there was delicious. They offer the full assortment of coffee drinks in all-vegan varieties- I was really impressed that they had vegan iced hot chocolate!! In terms of food, they offer smoothie bowls of various kinds, and two sandwiches (peanut butter & jelly and peanut butter & banana). It's not on the menu, but you can order a glass of vegan milk to pair with these for a great price!

BUT NOTE, that they do not have the wide range of menu options (mac & cheese, lasagna) that are mentioned in other reviews. We mentioned this to the owner and he said that they want to bring those back eventually, but are having to re-open slowly due to the pandemic. So as of right now it's not the best place for dinner, but it's perfect for breakfast (we ate almost every breakfast there and were very happy!!)

All vegan, all great

How wonderful it is to have so many fully vegan places in El Nido and Taste is one of the best!
The Mac and cheese was one of the best I have ever had! Flavorful, creamy and perfectly seasoned! Not to mention a good portion size.
The eggplant lasagna was also amazing, with a huge slice as a portion and one of the best vegan cheeses there is.
We ordered a couple chocolate chip cookies for dessert and they were both pretty hard. A good tip is to stuff a piece of bread in the jar with them so they stay soft and yummy.
The prices weren’t too high and the cafe has a nice vibe to it.

Taste tastes very good

We had lasagna (350) and mac and cheese pastas (330)
Boths tasted very good. Its great to eat something different here in the Philippines.

Pros: 100% vegan

Cons: Too small portions for the price , Not confortable seats , They asked the payment before being served

Best smoothies 🤞🏽

You will get a variety of amazing smoothies, so fresh, cold, and with all the healthy ingredients you can dream of. A bit expensive but definitely worth it. They also offer regular vegan dishes.

Delicious and best value in town

Compared to other places, taste offers the best value with the friendliest staff. Still, the prices are high, but at least you get something for your money. We had the Hello Yellow bowl as well as the Mac n Cheese. Both were delicious, and the smoothie bowl had a lot of toppings like goji berries, pumpkin seeds, and almonds on top of it. The Mac n Cheese was creamy and delicious too. The portion sizes are right, and you feel satisfied. 280 pesos for the smoothie bowl are reasonable, but 330 for the Mac n Cheese a tiny bit overpriced. Overall, taste offers a great experience, tasty food, and delicious coffee.

Pros: Fully vegan, Friendly staff, Value

Great food!

Love the food here so much, we keep going back! The lasagna is my favorite and there smoothie bowls are delicious and there’s a wide variety to Choose from. The staff are so friendly and awesome. It’s a small restaurant and it’s been very busy each time we’ve come.

Great Lasagna and Juices

I went there for the lasagna, and for me personally was amazing, one of the best ones I’ve eaten. The juices were great too. I liked the overall experience. It wasn’t cheap although it was in the same price range of other similar vegan restaurants I’ve been in Philippines. If you go for the lasagna, be sure to get early there, at least for dinner, as I seen a lot of people coming to try to get one, and they were sold out. It’s a great place to go, the portion was perfect for me, and the staff was friendly.

Best scam in El Nido

This place is supposed to be one of the best in El Nido but we didn’t understand why. It’s the best rip off ! Only 4 choices on the menu, prices are really expensive and the portions are really small. You haven’t finished talking to make your order at the counter that they already ask for your money, which is very annoying for a place where you can sit down and be served. We went upstairs and out of the 6 or 7 tables 2 haven’t been cleaned for a while, old dishes everywhere. Under ours were a piece of food and a lot of ants. Lasagnas were ok but not crazy, very expensive for the small portion. If you are vegan the only thing is their cookie, also expensive for what it is. If you are vegetarian or vegan there is so much better in the next street and so much cheaper.

Cons: Expensive, Only 4 dishes, Not clean

Amazing smoothie bowls

Really delicious smoothie bowls and great coffee. Beat for breakfast/lunch as not a lot of items for dinner, but they’re sister branch offers more dinner items.

You won’t be disappointed

Don’t miss this cafe in el nido. I had the eggplant lasagne my first night which was to die for. The next day at lunch, the Mac n cheese, which was also amazing. And then the next the mex bowl. All were amazing, as well as their cookies and my friend had a açaí bowl which he loved.

You MUST go here if in el nido. Free internet.

Pros: Yummy comfort food

Cons: No salads, I wish more fresh veggies

Rico

Cons: Caro, pocas opciones.

Exquisito!

Pros: Sabor , Porciones, Ambiente relajado

Cons: Precio, Más opciones
