obviously love a vegan business but does lack other allergen friendly options (contacted them and the only gluten friendly item is the ginger slice but contains oats)..but beautiful items that i’m sure are tasty (ginger slice was v yummy)

It's so nice to find a vegan place with so many options that you don't know what to choose! Had a ham sandwich and completely loved it. I'll definitely go back before leaving Auckland.

Took me a while to find it, on the 3rd floor food court in a shopping centre, but food was lovely. Had a pizza slice, a pie and a 'ham and cheese' croissant.

'chicken' & mushroom pie delicious - Edit
Was recomended this place by tour guide for best vegetarian kiwi pie. Got the 'chicken' and mushroom and it was delicious.
Read moreIt was 'meaty', tasted like tender chicken thigh chunks mingled with mushrooms. If you crave a meaty fix without the animals, definately give this a try as its the best pie I've had so far (cost $8.5).
The 'chicken' sandwich looked delicious as well and definately gonna go back to try that.

We were so pleased to come across Tart bakery and checked several times that everything was plant based because there was so much choice. Lots of tasty pastries, rolls and cakes. The perfect place to buy lunch.

Love this cafe!! So great to have many options (sweet and savoury) that aren’t boring or lame. Vegan crispy chicken sandwich was so good we got another, even my boyfriend (non vegan) enjoyed. Really good prices considering vegan stuff is normally more expensive. Service was also amazing. Definitely going back when in Auckland.

Ordered a sausage roll and almond croissant to get my savory and sweet in and wow. Flavorful and the textures are just right. These are the best baked vegan goods ever. Just in NZ for a little bit but I had to try coming here and I am so glad I did!

Holy happy cow... Tart bakery has and will always be my go to when it comes to a phenomenal vegan sandwich or almond croissant. They never miss with all their goodies... don’t get me started on the Mac and cheese pie and lemon chicken roll 😩😻

You can’t go wrong when everything’s vegan. They had croissants, cream buns, donuts, pies, pizza and sandwiches. The selection was a lot less than at Tart’s other location though. I tried the sausage roll and the mince and cheese pie (came with free tomato sauce on request) and both were yum. Definitely keen to revisit - and it’s right next to Wise Boys (vegan burgers) so you can really have an amazing vegan feast.

Upstairs in the Commercial Bay food court. Great selection of bakery treats including sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, danishes and doughnuts. Good coffee too with lots of dairy free milk options. Service was great too.
