Pretty good, but pricey - Edit
Bagels are good (especially when they're warm). They do carry vegan cream cheese (Tofutti), but the pricing has been very inconsistent the times I've gone. First time I got a bagel with the vegan cream cheese was a decent price. Next time it was almost double! Yes, it was $2.00 JUST for the vegan cream cheese...that did not include the bagel! They do have soy (and almond milk, I think) for coffee, which is pretty good. Nice space. Outdoor seating too.

Lots of vegan topping options! - Edit
Tofutti cream cheese 👏🏼 avocado, Beyond sausage, and others. Bagels are very basic yet the convenience of vegan to-go or stop in is awesome. Vegan smoothies also avail, as well as 3 milk options for us.

New vegan sausage is great - Edit
You can get a great breakfast sandwich here with the new menu additions — I like vegan sausage, avocado and tomato on an everything bagel (they also have vegan cheddar now) — BUT my experience is that if you order in person they will charge you for an egg sandwich even if you have them hold the egg. If you order online and “create your own sandwich” you can get it for $2 cheaper.

I love Tandem! - Edit
Tandem was on my list of reasons to move to Easthampton and I was extremely excited to get an apartment right down the street. They have a lot of good bagel flavors, my favorites are jalapeño and salt, and they’ve recently added vegan cheddar slices to their menu so there are more sandwich options. The monthly latte specials are fun and can often be made vegan. They had a candy corn latte for October two years ago and I think of it often. They’re conveniently located near the center of town, right off the bike path, with lots of cute shops nearby. They get very busy and do tend to run out of most bagels on the weekend in the late morning/early afternoon, but I’ve never not been able to find something to order even when it’s closer to closing. The employees are always pleasant and I’ve never had them make my order wrong.

A mixed bag - Edit
Really good bagels. Service is often fast, but if things go wrong they can go horribly wrong and you can end up waiting a long, long time to get your order. On several occasions they've put cheese on my order when I've specifically asked them not to. Tend to ignore you on how you want things toasted. Can be crazy busy at peak times. They did a great job renovating this old train station, but it is really noisy. Bagel sandwiches are expensive for what you get.

Amazing bagels! - Edit
I frequent Tandem Bagels often and am always very pleased with everything I eat or drink there. Staff are very helpful and courteous when making vegan requests and Tofutti cream cheese is almost always available. The atmosphere is charming and I enjoy staying to read the paper or work online. The hummus bagel sandwich, made with house made hummus, is delicious and filling. Any bagel without cheese already in it is vegan. However, You need to ask for no cheese on sandwiches Even though cheese is not listed as a topping in the description. The coffee is good and strong and soymilk is always available upon request. The outdoor patio seating is lovely.

Cons: Sometimes long lines to order, worth the wait, Need to specify no cheese on sandwiches
