Good food, good price - Edit
Dishes varied from decent to quite good. I wasn't sure how typical Taiwanese or Chinese the dishes were, but what do I know? Combined with the low price you cannot beat it.

Gerne wieder - Edit

Great Veg Restaurant - Edit
A little gem of a restaurant in Nihombashi area. Great taste and good value for money. I had chilli sauce with tofu and dumplings without cheese. Cheers

Incredible food!! - Edit
We got to the restaurant just as they were planning to close after walking in the 40deg heat. The owner let us in and gave us some cold water.
Read moreAll of the food seems to be vegetarian now. So we ordered the deep fried meat balls and cheese dumplings for starters as well as soy beef and beans as well as the chilli tofu as mains.
The food was awesome and great portions.
Pros: lots of veg and vegan options and friendly staff.
Cons: only one staff member can speak English, they don't have a clear billing syst so take care

healthy, homestyle food - Edit
They have a fairly large menu of Chinese/Taiwanese standards. Food is simple but tasty and made-to-order with love. Taiwanese food tends to be less spicy than other types of Chinese cuisine so this is a good place for anyone who prefers a milder taste. I ordered 2 types of gyoza (dumplings), the pan fried ones and the soup-style ones. I enjoyed both, but I recommend pan fried if you only choose one. For my main dish, I got the abura-soba which was soup-less noodle dish with a simple, soy-based sauce, some vegetables, and soy meat. Although the flavor was not particularly unique, but the portion was filling and the quality good for this price point. Overall, the restaurant is excellent value for money, especially given the lack of veg*n options in this part of town. Highly recommended if you're in the area, but if you're making a special trip, do call in advance as they sometimes close irregularly.

Awesome food, super value - Edit
Wow! Great authentic Taiwanese joint, reminds me of the veg food I've eaten in Taiwan. Food was fresh, fast, super tasty, and really great value - five people ordered a couple of appetizers and several mains plus rice and got overstuffed for around 4000 yen. They threw in a free dessert. Lovely people, great spot, will be returning.

Really yummy and really cheap! - Edit
We came here on our first night in Japan because it was close to our accommodation. It ended up being an excellent choice! We ordered the Mapo Tofu and Szechwan Eggplant, each 650 Yen, and added rice and soup to both, which was only 100 Yen more for each. The two entrees were both absolutely delicious, and such a good price! The added soup and rice for 100 Yen was an amazing deal too, even though I didn't care much for the soup (clear broth, fairly bland) -- the rice made it worth it. One of the women running the place even gave us a dish for free (what seemed to be lightly pickled bamboo shoots and tofu skin), which was really generous. We received a ton of food and the total was only 1500 Yen, which is a really great deal, especially by Tokyo restaurant standards.

We had two sets of sweet and sour soy meat and mado aubergines, plus 6 gyozas. Everything was delicious, made fresh for us and really cheap for Tokyo standards.

Great food at a great price! - Edit
Delicious made-to-order Taiwanese food in cafe style restaurant. We had selection of dishes and each one was tastier than the last. We will definitely be going back to try the other things on the menu. Dishes range from 390 yen to 690 yen. Highly recommended!
