Great vegan food, beer, casual vibe - Edit
Discovered this vegan gastropub for a late-evening bite. The toasted sandwich was delicious — crispy bread, creamy vegan cheese with “seed cream” and onion-paprika mix. The strawberry cake was light and fluffy. The place was packed! Cool vibe. Also, very reasonable prices!

Nice vintage Bistro - Edit
We went there to have breakfast and the daily soup and the notfish bagel were really tasty. The athmosphere is also very nice. Highly recommended 👌🏼

A creative cook - Edit
Today's special was a "hashbrown sandwich" full of flavor and vegetables. Nicely done. The roaming pair of dogs did not beg once they'd seen I wasn't sharing. They took turns sitting on the chair at the entryway. Only negative is the continuous American rap music. The upside? Explicit lyrics I don't usually hear, never having purchased the songs. (Full disclosure: I just turned 70). Downside? The deep anger in rap lyrics, justified as it no doubt is, doesn't create a great food atmosphere - for me, anyway.

Comfort food - Edit
Came for the stuffed pancakes but found they were just a daily menu option so they weren't available. Their menu is not long but has good stuff--got the hot dog (smothered in sauce and cheese) and the Cuban which was a daily item. Both good, but felt like taking a nap after :)

Perfect atmosphere and food - Edit
This was a lovely experience. I was welcomed by the very kind staff (and also by a friendly dog). The decorations and the atmosphere left me very comfortable. The food was great, I had lentils with rice.

Homey - Edit
Stopped there for lunch. I had a Hungarian sandwich, which was nice and filling, especially since it came with a salad on the side. My companion, however, doesn't tolerate onion, garlic and plants from that family. The best they could offer him was a salad, which seemed a bit sad and boring coming from a fully vegan restaurant. So if you have similar allergies, maybe this is not the spot for you.
Read moreI was also a bit disappointed to see that the pictures that were posted by others were from the daily menu, so for example the nice looking stuffed pancakes can not be ordered just when one feels like it. The everyday menu consists of sandwiches, salads, plus a changing daily menu.
The atmosphere is cozy, it looks like you stepped into an old Hungarian dining room, which I find cool and nice.

Dog-friendly bistro a bit out of the centre - Edit
Cozy bistro with old furniture and dogs around. Some might find it bizarre, but I loved that one dog felt so much home that (s)he occupied one corner of the only sofa.
Read moreThe Hungarian style panini that I had was a great snack and the salad on the side was very fresh. The virgin mojito was made such as I like: sweet, sour, minty and ice cold.
Pros: Dog-friendly, Easy-going style , Fair prices
Cons: The table could have been cleaner, Not a lot of items on the menu

Best Vegan space in town! - Edit
We tried a few different restaurants and bars on our week trip and this was by far the best!
Read moreBeautiful space, super welcoming and attentative staff who explained the menu in full to us. Full bar offer with great wines, IPAs and cocktails... And the food was amazing! Best fava ive ever had and the house panini is a must (vegan twist on a Hungarian classic)! Super relaxed atmosphere with bench seating outside.
The best in town for sure
Pros: Traditional Hungarian dishes with a vegan twist, Huge range of drinks , Short walk from Széchenyi Thermal Baths

Awesome food, friendly service! - Edit
This place is great and should be a must visit for any vegan in Budapest. Although it's a bit of a walk from the main city area of Budapest (though there is a metro you can take) it was well worth it! The bar has beer, wine, and liquor, which are all vegan. They can even make you a White Russian with the almond based Bailey's. Food includes bagel sandwiches, paninis, hummus plates, and salads. I would suggest knowing some basic words in Hungarian before going, it may help you communicate with the staff... though my husband and I were able to order without knowing any Hungarian, with the help of Google Translate. Overall, wonderful experience and very kind staff!

Took the chickpea ragou with spinach, was a bit spicy, but very tasty!
Asked for a desert, said they didn't have any cause the kitchen was closed...but he came back a few minutes later and offered me a desert usually only made for the staff, the Hungarian secret! Ahaha was so good!
Kitchen close at 10pm!
Last drink at 10:30pm.
