Worldwide Best Sushi

Few years ago we visited this lovely tiny restaurant. After so much travelling, we‘ve never found another Sushi restaurant like this. We loved the various choice of sushi and how everything is made with love which you can‘t get anywhere else. Liked to sit on the floor table - typically japanese. Employees were totally friendly. Hope to come back someday. Recommended this place to many of friends in Europe who travelled to Penang and they absolutely loved this place just as well. Price-performance is more than fair. Enjoy!! Yoi shokuyoku !! 🖤

A Little Disappointed

If what you're looking for is a romantic peaceful atmosphere at a reasonable price, come to Sushi Kitchen. However, I found the portion sizes a bit small, and I wish the employees were more friendly and talkative. Although I should say I eat a lot in general, but I left 20 ringgit poorer and not full at all.

Pros: Nice Atmosphere, Moderately Priced

Cons: Small Portions

Great that it's all vegan, but didn't get full

Was very excited to go here but was a bit dissappointed. We ordered the happy family sushi platter fot two people, but we didn't really get full, even though we also ordered one sushi hand roll each. The sushi was really small and all the different pieces sort of tasted the same. If you go here I recommend trying something else from the menu, and I hope you'll get full!

Pros: All vegan sushi, Cozy place

Cons: Small portions, A bit pricey

great place, delicious sushi

A place with a lot of heart, a big menu with something for everyone (also price range wise), seemed a bit understaffed when I visited (restaurant is well visited for lunch time), staff was very friendly though

Pros: big selection, fair price

Pure Perfection

This place is full of love and soul. It is not just the food that makes it one of the most beautiful places I've been to but all the heart you feel in every inch of every corner. The people who are working there are wonderful souls. Just thinking of the meals there warms my heart.

Coming to what will go into your tummy: not only is the environment one you want to eat in, but the food itself is of such a high standard. The quality and how it is prepared and then the taste! Truly marvellous. My personal favourite: the sweet potato noodle soup. Very unique and tasty! But I feel everything in their menu is exceptionally good. You cannot go wrong, especially if you're a vegan, vegetarian, or just not a big fish-fan. It's the only pure vegan Sushi place that I've ever been to and it's such a great idea.

Another big surprise was the price. It is very affordable so there's nothing stopping you of going there everyday!

Just go there. Experience it yourself.

Pros: TASTE, Staff and Environment, Quality and Price

Cons: That they're not in my home town...

loved the sides, meh to the soup

I loved the inari, the fries and the hand rolls. I ordered the happy noodles and found the flavor missing something. Went twice. Would give another noodle dish a chance.

Pros: Japanese , yummy apps, economic

Simply Amazing!!

I would not normally go for Japanese but saw that it was fully vegan so we decided to check it out. To say we loved it would be an understatement. I was blown away by the amazing quality of this superb restaurant.
The menu is huge, full of many kinds of noodle dishes, sushi plates and other interesting Japanese dishes. I have never before wished I could have tried so many different things. The noodle dishes and sushi dish we ordered were all amazingly delicious. We also went for a dessert which was pure heaven in every bite.
The decor and atmosphere is so quaint and relaxing. You can add your own message or artwork to the wall!
They have even framed their HappyCow Excellent Reviews sticker!
My only regret is not having enough time to go back and try all the dishes.
Until next time, thank you Sushi Kitchen!!

Pros: All vegan, Delicious, Lovely venue

Cons: NONE!!

Delicious and value for money!

Had the couple's sushi plate and couldn't stop at one. Went on to order another plate of floss maki. Very affordably priced too! 6 maki at 10 ringgit.

Fine dining

Very nice, cosy, clean, and sophisticated place. We had sushi and seaweed rice, both were delicious and presented beautifully.

You HAVE TO GO here!

This place is beyond amazing. They have great food choices, lovely service and a comfortable atmosphere. After having Cucumber and Avocado Makis only for four years this was a revelation! Honestly, I can't wrap my head around how good this is. Staying in Penang for four days and having dinner there four times 🤷🏼‍♀️ nothing beats some hella fine sushi
Can highly recommend 'happiness family' to get a great overview of their offers
Also: I was hella full after ordering three huge sushi plates and still only payed like 15€. What is life.

Pros: absolutely delicious, cheap, great service

Superb vegan sushi

Cosy and clean interiour. You can choose a chair or the traditional low table with pillow. Lot of vegan noodle choices and fried rice but we settled for the vegan fam sushi platter. It was amazing. All different but very balanced and pronounced flavours. Also, menu provides marks such as popular choice, healthy, spicy, with mayo, etc..

Pros: Large variety , sophisticated cuisine

Fantastic Japanese food

Great menu with a huge variety of food. All food was tasty and came out quickly. I love that there is a fully vegetarian Japanese restaurant that serves high quality food.
