For dessert I had the blueberry swirl cheesecake. It was a bit coconutty at first, which I normally don’t like, but it was really good! Wife said apple pie was good also!

YUM! - Edit
Vegan mushroom pizza was sooooo good! Took my brother here, who isn't vegan and eats eggs every single day of his life, and he absolutely loved the tofu omelette. A bit pricey. They serve alcohol which is rare for vegan joints, so it's also awesome for date night or brunch.

Flavorful & Filling - Edit
Came in on a Sunday after finishing my Finish the Ride LA in Griffith Park. Jeff was very knowledgeable about telling me his favorite and what would be filling. Boy was I in for a surprise. i ordered the Farmer's Market Skillet. It's enough for like 3 people. The first bite was so delicious and flavorful. Loved the creaminess and heartiness of the meal.

Wish we could eat here everyday! - Edit
WOW. Nothing disappoints. This place is literally the best. I wish we could eat here every single day for lunch and dinner. You cannot go wrong with anything! Their nachos or tacos for appetizers! Definitely get their stir fry - our favorite so far! Their pizzas and sandwiches/burgers are also delicious! Don't forget their desserts! I love their key lime. Also this is a great place to get tipsy! Their craft cocktails are the best!!!

Huge Portions! - Edit
I loved this place. Went with my friend and decided to split an appetizer and main dish. I was worried it wouldn’t be enough but when the nachos arrived it was HUGE!! We would’ve had to share anyways!! It was also delicious and flavorful. The fake meat on it was super good too. We also had the grilled cheese and tomato soup dish which was equally amazing. The soup was good enough to eat on its own but I also love to dip my sandwich in it! Can’t wait to try out their brunch!!! We will be back...

Always special - Edit
I've got two plant-based eaters, one vegetarian, and one meat eater in our household. We have come here many times. Sometimes special occasions and other times to have a great meal. And truthfully it always is. Most recently I had the Cauliflower Steak. Seems simple and it was. Simply DELICIOUS! Others in our party had the stir-fry, three tacos, and the shepard's pie. Worth the visit. Every time!

C'est tout de même assez cher pour ce que c'est.

Gorgeous & Delicious - Edit
I loved everything about suncafe. It's a little out of the way near Universal studios but the building and setup is beautiful. The staff is friendly and pretty too and I even really liked the artwork on the walls. The food was amazing!!! I tried the quesadilla and it was a really great portion. I didn't feel hungry after and it's probably in my top 3 favorite dine in spots out here. There's outside and inside seating and different sets of lighting so whatever vibe you're looking for you can find and enjoy some amazing vegan food. I would be really interested to keep going to try the entire menu! I doubt anything is bad here, only thing is there weren't many if any raw options.

Vegan Breakfast - Edit
Hi! We stopped for breakfast on our way leaving out of town (visiting for the weekend/Universal Studios). My husband ordered a smoothie and it was okay. He didn't love it. Our two boys and myself all ordered the waffles with fruit topping. The waffles were hard. If they had been fluffy they would have tasted great I think. There was very little fresh fruit. The service was okay nothing spectacular. I wouldn't describe it as being excellent customer service at all. We spend about $80 on breakfast for 1 smoothie and 3 waffle plates (1 waffle each with a few pieces of fruit). I would like to try some of their other entrees that they serve for lunch/dinner but this location will not be our first choice for going to a vegan restaurant.

favourite in LA (so far) - Edit
Been to most of the notable places in LA to eat for vegans but kept coming back to this one, in fact so many times one of the waitresses joked if we was trying to move in! But best place for me, great menu & the food is so good but you always feel great after eating it, never feels unhealthy or junky, even though it tastes so good. Go!
