How we loved this small restaurant/juice bar for great, wholesome vegan food in Key West. Its the only 100% vegan venue. We went 2x during our stay.

Extensive market with toiletries and groceries. Great one stop shop. Delicious juices, smoothies and sandwiches. The marinated tempeh was scrumptious, with an ample salad of greens and veggies. I could do lunch here every day.

The food was just amazing. Full of flavor! Must stop by! We had tofu BBQ and an energizing carrot-beet-ginger juice. There is a market connected and great for getting some snacks for tea time :)

I ordered a Hot Dog and my husband had a Beyond Burger. The food took quite long to finally come out.
Read moreThe hotdog was literally a vegan Vienna in a brown hotdog bun with some grainy mustard, not other sauce. It was dry and I didn’t enjoy it at all.
My husband’s beyond burger came on sandwich bread. This also made it quite dry and it wasn’t stated that it would come on a Burger bun.
The small area to eat in is also not very appealing. It would be nice if they expanded that a little.
If you want nice atmosphere and nice vegan food in Key West, rather go to Moondog or The Cafe.

Found this place thru the app and it lived up to the photos and reviews. I had the vegan tempeh sandwich and it was glorious! Came with a generous side salad with a delicious dressing. I’ll be back to try many of the other great looking items on their menu. Place is small with limited outside and indoor seating so I took my food to go.

This was the only all vegan spot in Key West so of course I hit it up! I am not sorry I did. I got the Tempeh Reuben and was pleasantly surprised how amazingly delicious this sandwich was! It came with a side salad that I got the sesame tahini, it was very tasty and had a great flavor. The sandwich was very flavorful, sometimes tempeh is too hard for my preference, but this one was just the right texture and the flavor was perfect!! This is one great spot, come check it out, you won’t regret it!!

Not only is this the only fully vegan place to eat BUT it serves terrific food... Great to grab lunch, a juice or smoothie... Very minimal bar seating, not too comfortable, so best when on-the-go... Always surprised they haven't tried to expand somehow, no doubt it'd be a success, but this quirky little place is not to be missed

We found this 100% vegan place on Happy Cow and were not disappointed. We got the burger with vegan cheese and fake bacon plus side salat with awesome key lime vinaigrette. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Check it out!

Friendly service and lots of choice. A completely vegan cafe attached to a health-food store. Seating is limited to one row of bar stools/counter, but the food is amazing. We ordered a Peaceful Tempeh and a Tempeh Reuben. Both came with a big side salad (with variety of veggies/olives/etc. not just lettuce and croutons like most side salads). We were both full and even took half of one sandwich home. Great food. Great value.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Sugar Apple Cafe. The food was delicious and a welcomed break from all the french fries and veggie burgers we had been eating! The menu had a nice variety of things to choose from. The tahini dressing I had on my hummus salad was so tasty! If we had been in Key West longer, we would have gone back for another meal!

A day walking the streets in Key West will bring on an appetite but finding a great deal isn't easy - especially when looking for vegan options beyond salad. The Juice Bar at Sugar Apple hit the spot. The cafe isn't easy to find from inside the store and the lone table outside doesn't make it any easier but the food makes the search worth it.
