Delicious food, great people and beautiful place! - Edit
The restaurant is located in a calm and green alley. It’s a peaceful place to eat. Everything in the menu is properly labeled if vegan, vegan option or vegetarian, so it’s easy to order.
Read moreFirst day I’ve tried the combo: green curry, tofu fritters with teriyaki, Gotu kola, Parantha and red rice.
Second day I’ve tried the Pad Thai, falafel fritters, mung bean lemon salad, spicy miso mushroom soup.
Both days I had their carrot cake that is absolute heaven!
Pros: Everything in the menu is properly labeled , Not oily, A lot of vegan options
Cons: A little more expensive than others

Didn’t go well for me - Edit
I’m sure this is a nice restaurant with good food but I had a bad experience unfortunately. I ordered a curry with rice and the Indian wholewheat roti bread with potato filling, the bread dish was great but very hot so couldn’t eat it as quickly as I’d like to, the curry was incredibly spicy, there was no indication on the menu that this curry was very spicy and the waiter did not tell me and I also blame myself for not asking, I tried my best but couldn’t eat the curry, This is an expensive restaurant, it cost me 300 baht, and I couldn’t even eat it, overall bad experience, but just bad luck. If I were to go again I’m sure I’d have a better experience.

Best meal in months - Edit
I got one of the set meals, I wasn’t prepared for how good it was going to be. Everything in the set was delicious - there was a LOT and I couldn’t finish no matter how good it tasted. Only 225B (which I think is a good price for the quality and amount) and there was free infused drinking water too!

Cons: Very quiet (no atmosphere)

Located in the alley of the wellness center the cafe is very lovely. You can sit in or outside, the staff is very friendly. Focusing on Ayurvedic nutrition there are special offerings available. Menu is good size to suit all palates and absolutely delicious.

Suananda - Edit
Great Indian food, the best I tasted in Bangkok so far. Beautiful serving and each small dish so tasty and good looking on it's own even before mixing it. I took the green curry along with a salad, tofu, rice and small pita and it was lovely. definitely recommended.

Perfect restaurant - Edit
The food, service and location are great plus their CSR is banging. For every set meal you buy, you feed a homeless person.
Read moreI've been here 6 full days in a row to work (from breakfast till dinner). I've ate every set meal and much more from the menu. Great wifi speed, airco inside, good coffee, a yoga place: just heaven.

Great food. Warm place. Good initiatives. - Edit
What a good place! The atmosphere is so nice, warm, peaceful. Alongside the restaurant, they have a yoga studio and zero-waste shop. That’s very important for the planet. Plus, for every set menu, one meal is offered to a less-privileged person. Ethic. Because of these efforts, I am okay to pay more.

Pros: Typical Indian food , Great efforts regarding plastic , Warm place

Favorite Restaurant in BKK - Edit
Literally the best place in Bangkok, and not just because of the food! Amazing food, cooking and wellness classes, Ayurvedic treatments, refill station, amazingly kind owners and staff, gorgeous ambiance. I love all the food here, but my absolute favorite is the Pad Thai and the spicy chick peas. I eat here all the time and have taken a few classes here and try to take every single one they offer!

Very tasty! - Edit
I sat down for a very nice set menu (green curry) and had something for take away, which was packaged in natural plant fiber boxes (Gracz) 😀 they have vegan and glutenfree options and they say it's all made on the spot and mostly organic. Not cheap for Thai standards, but I would definitely go back!

Tasty vegan options - Edit
We recently tried take away from Suananda. We picked a range of dishes - daal, pakoras, garlic potatoes, potato masala crepe, aloo gobi, chapati, butterfly pea lemonade, lemonade with mint and coconut and semolina barfi for dessert.
Read moreThere is a huge range of vegan options. It was a bit overpriced for Bangkok but the food was yummy. My favourites were the daal and barfi for dessert, which I recommend.
As we ordered take away I cannot comment on the restaurant itself but it was easy to order from the Grab app, with the menu available in English.
Coriander/cilantro is in many dishes , I realise this is expected for Indian food, but make sure to ask without it, if you're not a fan.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, English menu available, Can order through Grab food app
Cons: A little overpriced for Bangkok

A good find in the Indian neighborhood - Edit
We went initially in the neighborhood for House of joy but they were closed for holidays. We decided to try Suananda not far from here and did not regret it. The restaurant is inside a nice court, with two different rooms and one terrace. The place is very pleasant and clean, the staff is friendly and professional. The food was really good and finely cooked. I had the soba noodles with tofu and a miso soup. Everything was very tasty and sufficient in terms of size. The dish was also nicely presented in a wooden tray. I also had the Indian chai with soy milk that was good. The prices are a bit high for Thailand but consistent with the quality. I recommend it!
