Magnificent dessert!! - Edit
Normally I wouldn't start a review raving about a dessert, but this dessert deserves to be up there at the top! We had the Half n Half, half banana pudding and half brownie, and I can honestly say this dessert was mind blowing. I don't know what magic is going on in the kitchen but I couldn't believe my taste buds!! I'd travel a long way just to go back for a plate of that deliciousness. We washed it down with a glorious pastry dessert stout called Lo Tide which is described on the menu as a 'chocolate bar in a can', and ain't that the truth! If that's not your thing then there's an impressive choice of dessert beers and stouts from around the world that can be found listed on the dessert menu including some pretty rare ones. The Lo Tide stout was low alcohol but probably not low calorie, but hey you can't have everything!

Loved the ribs, and Honey Buttered Chips.
Very friendly restaurant with a cool vibe, cool music, and cool drinks! We'd definitely go back, and worth it's the trip if you're not local. If going in public transport it was very easy to get to from Southend Victoria train station.

Really rnjoyed my frist trip here. fantastic staff, really knew what they were selling, friendly and attentive without being too over the top. The decor of the restaurant is very Americana and a big plus for us is that its also dog friendly.
Read moreI loved our starters, oyster mushroom "wings" and cauliflower "wings" we followed this with the bbq tempeh with sides of slaw, mac n cheese and incredible corn fritters.
My partner opted for seitan briskett with sides of slaw, fries (with x3 different mayos) and beans. I also had a lovely cocktail and was half price as it was happy hour. Frances our dog was given a clean fresh water bowl.
I really loved this place, I prefered the brisket to the tempeh but everything was really good honestly. Really fun place.

Read moreThe two of us had the peach ice tea, shark attack cocktail and decaf coffee with oat milk to drink. To eat I had the KFC and Brownie which were absolutely delicious and my fiancé had the crunch wrap and a bite of my brownie. He said the crunch wrap was very filling and great. Love the new menu.
Would 100% recommend this restaurant and will be coming back on another occasion.

Read moreIt’s in a shop unit in Southend with a big window looking into the street which is really lovely, and is very quirky with great music on in there. Had a very lively atmosphere, incredibly warm and welcoming staff and food was amazing!!!
We went for the 3 course Christmas menu of truffle Mac n cheese, vegan roast dinner and tiramisu. First two courses were incredible and tiramisu also really nice but I might try one of the other options next time. Cocktails also fabulous! We had the vegan pinacolada and adored them!! Food was fresh, full of flavour and I honestly can’t wait to go back!

Been here too many times to mention. Really quirky lol lace, love the food, drinks, decor, staff - it’s just brilliant. Everyone so friendly too. Also had takeaway and that was great too! Eaten most things on the menu and all amazing! Selection of craft beers etc is great aswell.

We had a juicy seitan burger, a chicken sandwich and fried oyster mushrooms with a selection of chilli sauces. Very nice and friendly owner. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

I've been through everything on this menu now and there has not been one bad meal, the food is mouthwatering and flavorful, couldn't narrow down to what my favourite meal is, but it's a close between the tempeh rib sandwich, or the orange bird! Staff are so friendly.
