Spicy food, lovey staff! - Edit
I order the veg curry and it was really good full of loads of flavour - I got the Croatian spice and it was quite spicy but I do like spice. Where it was located was convenient and the staff were really friendly. They seemed to be having a lot of fun with the music which was a good laugh. Only downfall was I guess the menu wasn’t labelled vegan but the ingredients were listed so you’re able to distinguish what was vegan.

Pros: Few veg dishes labelled Veg were vegan , Decent price - affordable , Lovely staff
Cons: Dishes weren’t labelled vegan

Croatian spicy is spicy - Edit
I loved the deviled dish vegetarian curry. It's like a mix between and Indian stir fry and Chinese sweet and sour. The spiciness level "Croatian spicy" was enough for me, and I usually like to eat spicy.

Fantastic! - Edit
What a relief this place was. After a couple weeks travelling through smaller Croatian cities, where the options for vegan food are nearly nil and restaurants serving Asian or other ethnic food that's better suited to vegans are also nearly non-existent, I was excited to try Sri Lankan Curry Bowl when we got to Zagreb. I was not disappointed. I got the veg curry bowl with the highest level of spice - I think the spice level was called "Are You Serious?" It was incredibly spicy but still edible, which is just how I like it. It also cured my cold. My boyfriend got another dish with the "Croatian" level of spice, which was level two, and wishes he'd gone spicier, though the flavour was good. Throughout the trip we found that Croatian food is not particularly spicy, so spice it up when you can.

Quite flavourless - Edit
To be honest, it was just okay. The rice was a bit mushy and the vegetable curry had no flavour at all. I took the Croatian level auf spicyness which is 2 out of 4 and it wasn‘t spicy. It was lacking curry and herbs. I would not go here again though it is difficult to find vegan options in croatia.

Delicious! - Edit
Great location, delicious food - particularly the vegetarian Kotthu! (Made vegan for us!)
Read moreStaff were attentive and very friendly. Kitchen kindly substituted our sauces for a non-dairy option. Nearly everything on the menu is possible for a vegan or vegetarian. Coconut curry was not as aromatic or flavour layered as expected and had an unusual selection of vegetables for our knowledge of Sri Lankan food, but was delicious regardless. We visited just after the World Cup final and perhaps the curry had not matured enough because of the high demand. Coconut Sambal was lovely.
Pros: Coconut Sambal, Vegan-friendly, Delicious!

Wish I could rate a 5! - Edit
This is a fabulous place. Great level of spice and good streetwise atmosphere. Loved the coconut curry with vegetables. Enough vegan options to make it a good choice. Would be a good place for a couple or family where not everyone is veg/vegan.

Sri Lankan curry bowl - Edit
Was only okay to be honest. When I went they were unfortunately out of the vegetable curry (which I believe is their specialty) but they were able to do another couple of vegan dishes for me so I had vegetable fried rice (no egg) but it tasted very Chinese with soy sauce and cabbage and stuff like that - very unexpected for a Sri Lankan restaurant. However, I had the lentil cakes for a starter which were delicious !! (tasted a lot like falafel) Also, the menu says every ingredient in the dish so that’s really helpful if you’re not eating dairy or whatever! Definitely a massive pro
