Pros: Good quality , Varied menu , Vegan sushi and desserts
Cons: Expensive - but worth it for a treat, Most likely need to book a table in advance, Vegan sushi not part of delivery menu

Going in a bad direction…! - Edit
Most recent visit - was trying to order the seitan roll for takeaway, but told that it was off the menu after 3pm (website says 5pm) so ended up paying €17.90 instead for a takeout salad bowl which really was bland and missable. (With a staff member who was really pushing for drinks, sides, whatever)
Read moreDid a little test with a few friends, showed them the picture I took of the salad bowl, and said guess the price. All 3 guessed €10 cheaper than it actually was.
The last 2 times I was in the old venue were just terrible. I’d invited someone along both times and ended up apologising the whole time.
Been here 5/6 times in the old venue since they opened years ago, and once in the new. They got lost along the way somehow. Won’t be back myself.
Couldn’t recommend it to anyone anymore, would actually advise against it as there’s so many places now which are cheaper, easier to get to, and put a lot more effort in
Pros: Can be good, depending on the dish/day
Cons: Overpriced, Too hit and miss, Bland food

Delicious meal! - Edit
Their menu changes regularly I believe but I had the burrito bowl and it was very filling! I will say there was some confusion with their name that led us on a wild goose chase. Apparently they are Coco Sova? We had gone to another place called Vegan Butcher on Apple Maps which was closed down.

Great food - Edit
We went for brunch and had the full Irish breakfast and an omelette. Both were incredible, the omelette came with onion, spinach, tomato and mushroom and it was so good to finally have a decent omelette again.
Read moreThe brownie was a bit more like chocolate cake, but it still tasted great.
Pros: Lots of great options , Really good oat milk

Disappointing - Edit
I used to go to the old Sova all the time, for birthdays, special occasions, dates etc. Went here with my wife recently expecting a similar experience.
Read moreThey used to serve lovely sit down meals but now it's very overpriced salad bowls. If we had paid 8 euro for the salads it would have been ok but they were 18. I don't think we will be back, and it's not much of a date spot at all. Its such a shame, since it was our favourite spot in Dublin.
Pros: Vegan
Cons: Way overpriced, Food is forgettable , Changed for the worse

Changed name, location, menù... closed - Edit
This place is closed. As I had made a reservation for dinner one week before my visit, I received an email stating that the restaurant changed name and location but that my reservation was still valid. So we went there and find out that the menù was completely changed: it now serves sushi and bowls, but the waitress said that the only dishes available of their entire menù were 3 bowls, as they had opend that same day. So we ordered two of the bowls and wait a lot to be served. One of the bowls was good, the other was tasteless. Portions were small

Hell to the yes!! Badass food, staff, and ambiance!! We are here from Colorado and strictly vegan. Hubs is also a retired chef and our expectations are high…. They killed it!! We went for lunch and dinner in a day and will be back next week when we fly out.
Read moreThey accommodated my soy free needs without any issue and were so kind.
Hubs had the kebab gyro and I had a gorgeous salad sans soy products for lunch. Dinner was even better with oyster mushroom scallops to start, asparagus risotto (soy free) & Shepards pie as a main, and apple crumble for dessert. (Only 1 shot worth of soy milk in an entire tray of crumble for the dessert so I had my usual few bites of dessert and didn’t worry about a soy issue.)
People may complain about the price if they aren’t used to it but it was honestly CHEAP!! Lunch was 22euro and dinner was 51 euro. Cheap! We would easily spend $100 in the US for this meal so I don’t know why people are complaining.
They have no alcohol in house but have a small corking fee if you want to BYOB or BYOW
Pros: Cheap!, Great staff
Cons: None
