Vegan fine dining at its best - Edit
Nicest vegan food experience I have ever had. Not exaggerating, the place is incredible. Delicious, creative, plant based food that is interesting and satisfying plated beautifully and paired with delicious Italian wines. Magnificent restaurant.

Incredible experience - Edit
The team here are very focused on food quality and presentation. I went with a friend and we had the degustation.. the vegan cheese here is second to none that I’ve ever tasted. A little pricey, but obviously because they’re fine dining, I definitely think it was worth every euro and can’t wait for an opportunity to return one day.

Amazing - Edit
This is a beautiful restaurant with a menu filled with exciting choices. Every dish we had was a work of art and super delicious. The wine list was extensive and interesting. It’s often hard to find vegan “fine dining” so we were very excited to find this gem.

Great atmosphere, food so so - Edit
Love the ethos and branding of this place.
Read moreThe menu is compact with 4 types of starters, mains and desserts.
I tried the ‘porri con tartufo’ which presented great but had no truffle flavour. Then had the ravioli which was equally plain. Tried some of my guest’s linguine and they were actually really flavoured.
Pros: Creative cuisine, Well presented , Great wines
Cons: Little flavour, Expensive

Amazing!! - Edit
We went there for lunch, and the meals we had were just delicious!! Also the personal was very nice. It's true that it's kind of a fancy place with a bit high prices, but as a tourist or from time to time is totally worth it for the cooking quality and its taste believe me!

Lovely food! - Edit
We were here for my birthday and I absolutely adored the experience. The plating for each dish was very pleasing to the eye although the dessert we had, the raw chocolate special, reminded us of a fancy [censored]. It was very tasty, don’t get me wrong, but it did make us giggle like kids. The breads were absolutely wonderful and I found the portions agreeable. We had one antipasto each, one secondo each and shared a dessert. Very ingenious use of ingredients, I particularly appreciated the ways tempeh have been used in two different dishes.

Fancy dinner experience - Edit
I loved this restaurant. We had a super friendly waiter and the whole atmosphere was nice.
Read moreThe food was exquisite: a homemade cheese platter with cheeses that even smelled like the cow milk based cheeses, I have no idea how they did that. The pasta was homemade and really good. For dessert we had been already full but I had to try the raw chocolate cake and was glad I did. It was the best raw cake I had so far, sweetened by dates. Totally recommend this place for a really fancy dinner.

Nice atmosphere, average food - Edit
The food at Soul Kitchen didn't quite meet my expectations. My husband and I each had a three course lunch, and we found that the dishes varied a lot in quality. My first course was a simple dish (red rice, tempeh, pumpkin and sunflower seeds), but it was cooked to perfection. My husband's first course pasta, however, was just mediocre. Both of our second courses were pretty bland, and my husband's rice and bean patty was very dry. The elegant desserts were the best part of the meal, especially the chocolate cake. There was no English menu, but the owner explained that he changes the menu every week, so it's just not doable to have a English menu. He helped us with some translations. Overall, it was a good restaurant experience, thanks to the service, the nice atmosphere and those of the dishes we liked.

Service could use an upgrade - Edit
The food was alright - I didn’t want a raw food entree or a sandwich, which left me with about three things to choose from for lunch. So I opted to go for a salad and the noodle starter with tempeh. I asked for some explanation of the menu or even some advice but nothing was forthcoming. I received the salad first - pretty but underwhelming given that it was described as the best chopped salad in the city - and when I’d had two bites of it the noodles arrived. Very poor service as I felt compelled to rush through my salad in order to get to the noodles, which were getting cold. I wish the waiter had thought to delay the noodles, or even ask me if I wanted both at once. A couple of the servers seemed friendly but I got one who was particularly brusque. The food was expensive and not filling for the price; the specks of tempeh on the noodles were microscopic. Wouldn’t go back or go out of my way.

Wonderful Experience - Edit
I loved everything about this place. The decor was lovely, the wait staff were perfectly attentive but also distant to allow us to enjoy the evening and the food and wine were delicious.
Read moreHappy Cow seems to suggest the restaurant is expensive, and it might be by Italy's standards, but by London/Oxford prices it was quite normal (if not good value) for the level of quality.

Be prepared for a special experience! This is not a common restaurant. Here you get extremly attentative service, most beautiful dishes and simply superb good food. We had to make a reservation but it was totally worth it. Regarding the quality of the food, the excellent service and beautiful restaurant, we think that the prices are more then justified!

Great food and decent service - Edit
Came here on the evening we arrived in Turin and were greeted and seated promptly. They were busy so it took a while for them to come to us to take our order, but it wasn't an uncomfortable wait. The waiter spoke English and was very friendly, but it seemed they only had one waiter that could take orders for the entire building.
Read moreThe appetisers we had were a good size and tasted great, especially the gnocchi. We also liked the raw salad (Hanami) but it could have done with some better dressing or seasoning. The main courses were very delicious, we had the seitan steak with tomatoes and this fluffy small pizza-looking thing (the name of the dish on the menu was a sentence in italian, we forgot the actual name) but it was delicious nonetheless.
Pros: Great tasting food, Waiter spoke English, Good value for vegan fine dining
Cons: Slower than average service time, Needs one more waiter that can take orders

Imaginative and Delicious Gourmet Vegan Food at a Reasonable Price - Edit
My spouse and I now have a favorite new vegan restaurant and we wish, with all our hearts, that we could transport it to where we live. We found this gem in Turin (Torino) Italy. The name makes it sound like a place where you would get sprouts only and the like— “Soul Kitchen.” However, what we encountered was an amazing gourmet vegan restaurant. The food was so imaginative and beautiful, we were amazed. We ate three times there in two days—lunch and two dinners. Among the many dishes that are reinvented Italian fare, they do fantastic dishes with seitan and you feel as if you have entered seitan heaven. We recommend The Napoleon, for the creativity of its preparation with the slight flavor of blood oranges is beyond compare. They also have the most terrific complete onion filled with pasta (which tastes a little like risotto). The restaurant itself has a comfortable atmosphere and you can go casual or dressed up. We did not expect something so unique and satisfying. We “travel for vegan food” and have eaten in many many vegan places in Europe, Canada, Turkey, Brazil and The United States, and this is definitely in the top three if not, the top one. In addition, our server Ricardo was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful that he made the whole experience even more delightful. You must try this place if you love food or if you are vegan or if you want a joyful eating experience. It is not to be missed.

Excellent quality - Edit
We were there for lunch, had a delicious and fine squash/carrot soup with chickpeas and grilled black polenta, a salad (also very good but more common), fresh cheese with crackers, and a budino (chocolate cream). The prices were decent for the quality of the food and the elegant atmosphere (8€ for the primi, 6 for the cheese + crackers, 6 for the desert). Very nice experience!
