Fancier, plant-forward dining - Edit
This is Denver's fanciest vegan restaurant, and one of the few (or only) that doesn't rely on fake meats (not that that's a problem). The dishes are all very plant-forward. You can go a la carte or get the "FEED ME" option, which is basically a four course dinner. Service is good but the restaurant can get very loud (in case that bothers some.)

easily the best vegan restaurant i’ve been to - Edit
definitely a little pricy if you want to have the full experience (vegetables and an entree) but /so/ worth it. the food is so creative and fun and doesn’t lean on vegan food substitutes at all. it just does amazing stuff with plants. try the olive oil cake & the potatoes definitely but i don’t think you can go wrong. if you have sensory issues it is very loud in there, but that’s really the only downside.

Excellent service! - Edit
Tonight’s Sunday Supper was mostly Indian fusion. Everything went well together (except some portions were a bit much and could be halved). The dal main entree appeared to be an after thought - either choose the basmati rice or naan (but not both). I thought it was a 5 course prix fixe but it was really 6 with dessert (bonus)! #vegan #flexitarian #plantbasedfoodie #plantbasedfoodies

Awesome - Edit
Did the 4 course meal. Everything was really good and interesting while still being healthy. The prices were a bit high for the amount of food you get. Although it is a unique vegan dining experience. The maple butter that accompanies the bread is so good. My only complaint is that one dish was served at room temperature, and I’m almost certain it should have been warm. The zero proof cocktails were a rip off, for $24 we got a shot of beet juice and orange juice lol.

It was ok - Edit
It was fine…? I just don’t get all the hype. I spent $13 for an appetizer that was just a few pieces of grilled asparagus with some lemon juice on top. And $20 for a bowl of pasta that was just ok. The price definitely doesn’t match the food. While they clearly have put a lot of thought and time and energy into the ambience, it’s a very lovely space, I personally just want good food. I don’t think I would ever go back as there are better, cheaper options elsewhere.

Delicious food, beautiful restaurant, excellent friendly service! - Edit
Somebody People really blew us away. We did the tasting menu--a real bargain at $35 per person given how much food we received. Our server and everyone else we interacted with were super friendly, accommodating and provided excellent service during our meandering 2 hour meal--which we so thoroughly enjoyed. Flavors of every single thing we ate were complex and interesting and absolutely delicious. We will be back! Bravo, Somebody People! Also, name comes from a Bowie lyric, which makes this place even cooler.
Read morePro tip: This is a zero-waste place. Bring your own to-go container if you’re a person who brings home leftover food! The to-go containers sold in the restaurant are high-quality glass and stainless steel containers, but the prices start at around $22, which may be too much for some who wish to take food home.

Fantastic - Edit
This is easily one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to. I've been eating at vegan and vegetarian restaurants all over the world for more than 30 years and Somebody People is outstanding. I visited Somebody People four times in the past year and each time the food has been exceptionally well-prepared, creative and delicious. On my most recent trip (over the holidays) with family, we did find the risotto salty, but our server kindly replaced that dish for a pasta that was perfect. And otherwise, I not only have NO complaints -- but everything else I've ever eaten at the restaurant has been absolutely delicious. It's a bit pricey, and I wish the mood music were a bit less loud, but otherwise, Somebody People is a Colorado treasure and I plan to return many times.

Best Vegan Food, hands down! - Edit
Let me start by prefacing this review that i have been a vegan since 1994, when the movement was so small i had to make my own soy milk from powder. That being said, I have been tasting and trying vegan faire for many years from various places. Somebody People is the only vegan restaurant I can fully endorse as an original & creative plant based eatery. You wont find vegan renditions of your grandma’s buttery comfort foods here, thankfully. The chef’s inspiring twists incorporate tasteful palates of delightful forward-thinking food combinations using exotic ingredients. I love their zero waste initiative by utilizing the veggies leftover from the week to create Sunday Supper. This is where its at folks! If you are just as tired of veggie burgers, French fries, and faux processed impressions of meaty meals, treat yourself to a culinary experience that you will not forget.

Really wanted to like this, but I don't - Edit
Went with the "feed me" option for $40 and they provide you several different courses. I really didn't enjoy anything I was served. I appreciate the creativity and the artistry, and I love that the restaurant is FULLY VEGAN :), but if the food isn't good, I'm not going to come back. And the food just isn't good, point blank.

Fresh and creative dishes - Edit
We particularly enjoyed our drinks and appetizers, but weren’t wowed by the entrees. The grilled cabbage was my favorite thing followed by the potatoes. Definitely don’t skip desert the opera cake was incredible! They only allow 1 hr 30 mins for each reservation so don’t be late! They will kick you out LOL the couple next to us were forced to take their desert to go because they were out of time. I understand completely they are very busy and booked up especially on the weekends.

Top Rated for a Reason - Edit
Truly incredible spot, we had a wonderful date night here. The “Feed Me” menu option was great, with five courses of creative, fresh dishes. Apparently they just swapped to the fall menu, seems like a perfect time to check it out. Atmosphere was great, I appreciated the focus on reusable items, and the staff were all so friendly.

OMG - Amazing Anniversary Dinner! - Edit
We were on a waitlist for our anniversary dinner. They graciously called late afternoon to let us know we got a spot. We ordered the “fee me” option for dinner and it was the best choice! They brought us so much amazing food from the menu. We ate so much! They even brought us champagne to toast. The cappuccino to end the meal was amazing. We can’t wait to go back. So good- we almost died! All the gold stars!

Amazing food! Vegans and non vegans will love - Edit
Wow, wow, wow! We were looking for a great vegan restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday and she chose to go to Somebody People--so glad she did!! This restaurant did not disappoint! The cocktails were delicious-- you have to order the "Mirror Mirror"-- omg--so good, and the food was phenomenal! If you have non-vegan friends, this is a great place to go! No faux meats--only amazing culinary creations. So full of flavor, every dish was a crowd pleaser. We went with the "Feed Me" option that is $40 per person (the whole table has to do it, not just one person) and that was the way to go. You got to sample almost everything on the menu and were perfectly filled up. I was starting to worry I was going to be hungry, but by the second pasta dish, I was feeling mostly full. And then came dessert. SO GOOD! It was tiramisu--incredible. So did not miss the marscapone cheese. The staff was really cool. Even though they were slammed (which apparently it was a "slow" Saturday for them) we weren't neglected. The staff all helped each other out and made is feel taken care of. We will definitely be back!

Sunday Supper is a must - Edit
If you decide to eat at Somebody People, try to make it on Sunday for Sunday Supper. Book in advance because it fills up VERY quickly. 5-course chef selection based on seasonal offerings. One of the best vegetable-forward meals I have had. I will definitely be back to check out the standard menu.

Finding this place was the highlight of a recent trip to Denver. My partner and I ranked it in our top 5 meals of all time! The cabbage dish is heavenly and the tiramisu is one of the best. The staff is super friendly and the cocktails are the cherry on top of an already amazing place and experience. A must-go and indulge!

All-Around Amazing! - Edit
Holy cow-less this place is incredible!
Read moreMy husband and I visited for the first time tonight after several recommendations and I was treated to a truly wonderful birthday dinner.
First off, the atmosphere is lovely - funky but very comfortable and inviting. Secondly, the staff is friendly, informative, welcoming, and attentive. Nathan was a gem as was everyone else who helped to ensure we had a top-notch experience.
Both of those things allowed us to focus on what we were really there for - the food. Delicious barely begins to cover it. I'm from Jersey, so I know great Italian food and this is it. It's an innovative combination of traditional and unexpected flavors and we were delighted with everything. Do yourself a favor and don't skip the tiramisu! We had plenty left to take home for later.
Pros: Incredibly Delicious Food, Excellent Service, Great Atmosphere
