Serves meat, vegan options available. Overlooking the fact that the Asian fusion menu is meat-centered, you could get a pad thai or curry with tofu; or the one labeled vegan burger. Open Mon-Sat 7:30am-8:00pm.

Good Vegan/GF snickers bar - Edit
We were able to get a lot of fresh vegetables. Only negative is the soy milk tasted spoiled in the soy latte.

Decent option in Franz Josef - Edit
Small town so options are limited. I got the tofu burger which was a tasty fried piece of tofu. Menu needs update since now states chickpea burger. Perhaps previous reviewer was mistaken that he was mistakenly served chicken. Vegans make sure to ask no mayo, tbh I couldn’t say for 100% that the bun was vegan. They also have Thai noodle dishes whose portions were HUGE and could be modified vegan. Also vegan smoothies and vegan dumplings and vegan snickers bar dessert

Disappointing...Watch out! - Edit
At Snakebite we had the salad bowl, which tasted absolutely terrible, and the supposedly "vegan burger". According to the menu, this consists of a homemade chickpea patty and what I was served was neither homemade nor made of chickpeas. Instead, I was almost certainly given a chicken burger... When I asked the waitress whether that was the right burger, she didn't even look properly, but just said "yes" and walked on. Since this is apparently not the first incident of this kind, it's best to eat somewhere else.

Good curry, options could be more - Edit
So we just had to try the curry after everyone was raving about it - it’s definitely good and better than we would’ve expected. The portion size was pretty big which almost makes up for the fact that it’s over 17 euros. Would go back for the vegan burger if it weren’t that expensive. Staff was very friendly!

My husband and I (both vegan) had these dishes and they were super tasty! Nothing for vegans on the breakfast menu

Green Curry - Edit
Green curry is to die for, as many reviewers have stated! Lived up to the hype and would recommend going here if you need to eat out and don’t have the option of making your own food. Do not waste your time or money going anywhere else in the area.

Best green curry - Edit
I got the green curry and holy moly. explosion of delicious flavours in every mouthful. My ridiculous exaggerated reaction caused my wife to be upset as I’ve never given this reaction to her cooking. It was the best Thai green curry I’ve even eaten and worthy of my reaction and review!

Disaster - Edit
I paid for soy milk and I received dairy milk. We asked for vegan options and talked about vegan options and we got egg and cow milk. And then they argued with us about it being okay for vegans. And then argued it was fine for vegetarians. Even though we had said we were vegan and talked at length about vegan options specifically distinct from vegetarian options. It was a mess. They were also out of tofu and their vegan burger. Don’t go if you have allergies -can only imagine the disaster if my egg or dairy or nut allergy family members came here.

Lovely staff, the waiter checked with kitchen before confirming vegan options for me. The tofu green curry was packed with flavour, veges and tofu. Highly recommend.

Best green curry ever! - Edit
Not many vegan options but there was a vegan green curry and it was one of the best we had ever had! So good! The fries are cooked in the same fryer as meat products so be wary of that. The hot chocolate powder was vegan however so we got soy hot chocolates and they were also really nice. We would stop here again if we came to Franz Josef again😄

Decent if overpriced - Edit
Had the vegan burger, which was pretty good. The dominant flavor by far is from the peanut sauce, which is tasty, but as a result I didn’t really taste the falafel patty. Also, $22 for just a burger without any side (e.g., fries or salad) seems a bit expensive for what you get.

Awful service, untrustworthy food - Edit
Had the worst service I’ve ever experienced at snakebite... the guy was almost laughing at us when we were asking about vegan options, and only replied “I don’t know”. We nearly bought a couple of sushi rolls after he said we were vegan, before my boyfriend made him double check with the kitchen... turns out they had fish sauce all through them.... don’t go there!

Overpriced, but the best you’ll get. - Edit
The food wasn’t the greatest & overpriced, but it was one of the only options available in such a small town. They have an interesting range of alcoholic beverages & a few options on the menu that are vegan & a few that can be made vegan, staff seem knowledgeable and friendly.

We liked the vegan burger patty, it was soft, but flavorful. The portions were large!

I had the only option they said was vegan which is the burger and I was not the biggest fan, a bit mushy and dry. I asked about other options as previous comment were talking about the curry but they said it was not vegan !

Good - try the vegan burger - Edit
Ordered the vegan burger which was quite good. I enjoyed the sweet sauce and found the patty good as well. The burger doesn’t come with chips so if you want those you need to order as a side. Service was ok - lady who took my order at the counter was quite rude but the other waitress who brought out my order was lovely.

Vegan options - Edit
The menu has solid vegan options. We had the green curry with tofu and vegan burger. The vegan curry at King Tiger is better, but we appreciated the tofu option. The vegan burger was chickpea based with a sweet sauce. The bread was a bit much, but we just ate without the bread. Overall solid healthy vegan options where you would not expect them.

We got to try their vegan burger which is pretty good, their tofu salad (good too) and their green curry (spicy!). The staff is very friendly. It would be great to see more vegan options on the menu as more and more people are ditching animal products!

In a tiny town with limited food options, we were really happy to find this place. The vegan burger was delicious, plus we ordered a side salad which was very tasty as well. Prices seemed a bit high, but the quality was there. Would go back.

Good variety of vegan dishes - Edit
There were a few dishes already vegan such as the vegan burger and a vegan chia pod dessert and meals that could be made vegan such as nasi goreng and pad thai. The staff were super accomodating to adjusting food, making it vegan. The food itself was👌🏽
