Delicious, not all vegan - Edit
Be warned that you need to ask for the vegan menu. I asked for a sushi roll, but I ended up getting a different one. It did not matter, it was delicious. Probably everything is really good. The bartender made me a great matcha drink that was not very sweet, which is what I asked for. the panda cotta was very good too!

Nous avons commander 2 de leurs cocktails signature (avec saké), c’était excellent! Nous avons ensuite pris 3 plateaux de sushi et les gyosas. Nous avons tout partagé, c’est très convivial. Le service était bon et rapide. Le décor est superbe. Bref, belle découverte pour nous!

Great place to enjoy cruelty-free sushis. If you have the chance to book in advance, I would recommend to ask for the "hot pot". As far as I know, it's the only place in Montreal that you can eat that special dish. You must love mushrooms though. Sushis are excellent too.

I ordered the Everest Roll, Haru Futo, and the Geisha. All were great. The Everest roll (fried/crispy) was by far the best. I had never tried fried sushi before, and the creamy sesame sauce that came with it was to die for. I had also never tried vegan salmon before which was in the Geisha roll and that was great. The sake cocktail I had was also amazing. My only complaint was how long it took. I was one customer among three other small tables of people and it took about 2 hours to receive everything I ordered. I ended up missing the opener for the concert I was going to that night because of it. I thought 1 to 1.5 hours would be enough time.

The 18-piece sushi combo (20$) is a good deal. Fresh, tasty plant-based sushi made of whole foods ingredients. They prepared my takeout order in a timely manner. Convenient location near the Lachine Canal, not far from Atwater Market. Although I did not dine-in, the ambiance seems lovely as well.

The service was great, fast and so very kind. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a miso soup, a mushroom sushi pizza and some hosomakis, it was all delectable. I would very much recommend the sushi pizza, if I had to pick a favorite, it was, according to my girlfriend, and I quote: "the best thing I've ever put in my mouth".

We didn’t get a chance to take pictures but the food was outstanding! We had tempura (yummy), the Everest roll (very flavourful), kokoro (the black rice was great) and the cucumber roll (refreshing). Excellent service too! 10/10!

Truly, I am at a loss of words. So many vegan sushi places have been such a disappointment. I guess I'm a foodie with very high standards. This is the ABSOLUTE best sushi ever! Vegan or not, you will love it. I promise! Your only regret will be that you didn't come sooner!
Read moreI highly recommend the Mushroom bao Buns, the dumplings, the tempura (to die for!), the 3 Mushroom sushi, the Ete (44), the simple sweet potato roll, the Avocado roll. Basically, EVERYTHING we got was impossibly good!

We had a bit of everything. The makis and tempura were all very good, the mushroom soup too salty. The mocktail I ordered ( with coco and pineapple) was too sweet.

Staff was very nice and attentive, our only complaint is that we had to wait a lot to be served… the restaurant should serve first customers on site and afterwards online orders.

Went there for dinner and discovered that Japanese food could be made vegan! The sushi was absolutely amazing, really good flavours and portions. My only criticism would be the main courses, I found everything too sweet. The staff were very friendly and great ambience too! Highly recommended for sushi!

Incredibly enjoyable for a newly converted vegan eater - Edit
I’ve recently switched to a vegan diet, which was initially hard for me to adapt to. I am so glad to have found Shushu Haru. Other than sushis, they also have a range of dishes such as bao and hot plates which were equally enjoyable thanks to the flavorful mix of ingredients and yummy sauces. The chefs and waitress were also super nice and offered great recommendations. I’m now addicted.

Arguably the best sushi vegan in town. Those are the must-try dishes: Volcano, Été rolls and Mushrooms Bao. Also, the truffle sauce is mind blowing. In short, top-notch food quality in great ambience and good service. Well done!

I dined in twice and completely love this place. The food is amazing I have to tell! I ordered different dishes for both time and they were all impressing me. The atmosphere also is very chill. Their staffs are very nice and combining with good food. Of course I will go there and try out everything in their menu!

Oh mon dieu! By far some of the best sushi I’ve had in my life. This place is REALLY worth trying and the prices are reasonable. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful plate, attentive service… and more than that, cheaper than the other famous one. Hope i can give them 6* instead. Good job, keep it up guys.
