The main dish was some of the best food I ever ate at a restaurant. The location is cozy and the staff very friendly. I would definitely go again. Also there were some ladybugs in the garden that paid us a visit while eating.😄

I don't have a reference either if it's "traditional" Czech food.. but the goulash with dumplings were great! Also the ladies are really polite and friendly... It's in some kind of "cave" building that makes for a interesting ambiance

Best veganised Czech dishes in Prague - Edit
This spot feels like a traditional pub, and some aspects of the menu are similarly traditional. There are a few Czech starters like topinka (fried bread with toppings), and about 4 Czech main dishes. For me, these are the best veganised Czech dishes in Prague since Moment closed down. I tried the goulash and the vypecky. The goulash was fantastic, with good meaty chunks and a really rich sauce. The vypecky was good too - not quite as rich as the goulash, but the red cabbage balanced the dish really well and made it feel a little lighter. Both were served with good dumplings. In keeping with Czech tradition, the portions were very generous. I wish I'd had room for a kremrolle, but not this time!
Read moreThe menu also includes a lot of options for loaded fries, but I only had eyes for the Czech options this time.
Service was fast and friendly, even though it was busy on a Friday evening. I'd recommend a reservation because they were turning people away. Most of the tables were quite large (seating around 8 people), so if you're in a smaller group you might have to share with strangers. It didn't feel uncomfortable or overcrowded though, and the staff were leaving space between diners as much as possible.
Please note that this place is not wheelchair accessible - there are a few steps down on entry, and I think a few steps to get to the bathrooms as well.

Soooo yummy - Edit
We had a small soup, the gulash and svickova, which was all so rich in taste. We enjoyed the layed-back atmosphere of the place. Such friendly staff, too! I think it would be the first place I‘d go back to when I‘m in Prague again.
