I've had quite a few ramen in my life, and the two we had here for lunch were ok but not much more. In my opinion, the broth was lacking in flavor. And also, I would like to have a bit more protein to be full. It's a nice location and interior.

Great food, great location, cool drinks — which also explains the high prices. I had a green cheese ramen and my friend had the matcha ramen. Both were very tasty, but the “chicken” and the “pork belly” were made of the same thing and tasted exactly the same. The vegan cheese in my dish was an odd addition, I expected white cheese, but it was just grated yellow cheese. We also shared a green matcha tonic for almost 10€. Most of the glass was filled by the huge round ice ball, and the drink itself was super sweet, but at least it looked super cool.

Presentation seems more important than taste. The ramen is ok. The noodles and broth were good, the fake chicken was not good and the wantan were ok but bete root is a strange idea in a ramen. The beet root gyosas had no taste and were all sticked togheter, but were magnificent. The cocktails were very good and original, the matcha one was my favorite. They brought the ramen when we were eating our starter and our table was small. The place was packed and it looked very popular.

Read moreI tried a cocktail as well as ramen. The ramen tasted ok, but at the same time, they were not very memorable. Toppings seemed a bit meager.
The restaurant seems popular among the locals. We only got a small table that wasn’t very comfortable.

Service was fantastic, all starters and ramen were divine. The vegan meat was super realistic to chicken/beef (may unnerve some). Fantastic winter warmer - will make everyone back in the UK aware of this amazing Ramen near a filled in bunker.

When we came it was the lunch offer time which comes with a tea and a bowl of ramen, which worked out perfectly because it was a really cold day. We had the Tonkutso Ramen and the Miso Ramen. Both of them were incredibly good. The Tonkutso Ramen had vegan beef in it and it was amazingly tasty. The broths were well seasoned and the vegetables in them tasted fresh.

My wife and I had an amazing dining experience at Shisomen in Berlin. The vegan miso dishes were outstanding, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and high-quality ingredients. The staff's warm hospitality and attentive service added to the positive atmosphere. We highly recommend Shisomen for anyone seeking exceptional vegan cuisine in Berlin. Incredible place for Japan lovers! - Edit
This is by far the best ramen/japanese restaurant you could asked for in Europe. The inside is very beautiful with traditional decor and lot of wood. The menu fully vegan of course, it is so rare to find this in asian cooking. The dishes are delicious and respectuous of the japanese recipes, along with plant-based meat. The staff is kind and you can see they put efforts and love in their work. To conclude, this was my all-favorite abroad restaurant.
