Good experience

It's a great chinese buffet with both vegan and vegetarian dishes at a low price (€ 9.90 plus drinks). It's perfectly located in the city centre and a good alternative to eat, though quite unhealthy.

Pros: Cheap, great location, variety of dishes

Cons: Unhealthy, small selection of vegan desserts

Fatty salty fake meat

I understand why this is not everyone's cup of tea. It's not all vegan, the food is not healthy, it's very fatty oily salty and I bet they use a lot of glutamate. But I like. I was never a huge fan of meat, even when I was still eating it but these fake meats I like. I also like to eat a lot so a buffet is a good option to me.
Go if you like fatty food and go when you are hungry.

Pros: Tasty fatty food

Cons: Unhealthy

Chinese Buffet

Just the (almost) vegan alternative to the typical chinese buffet. Almost everything is vegan but some desserts, tasty, lots of dishes and very cheap. Not very healthy since they cook with lots of oil for my taste, but its a good alternative for those days that you feel so hungry and don´t want to spend a lot of money. You can find salads, sushis, tempura and all of the typical shinese dishes (duck, etc) in the vegan version.

Pros: cheap, very good location, Lots of dishes, Tasty

Cons: oily food, not very healthy

Oily vegan chinese food

First time I came here to try the buffet I couldn't believe my luck. Everybody talks wonders about this place and apparently I happened to go the day that the food wasn't as good as usual.

All the "fake meat" tasted the same to me, most of the food was cold and it felt really hard to digest.

So I decided to go a second time and I got the same impression.

Furthermore, it's a bit shocking to find products with E-120 and gelatin in a "vegetarian" place. Even some desserts like the chocolate cake, which tastes nice, has this sprinkles that usually have animal ingredients on it.

It is cheap tho if you like to eat a lot and try different stuff.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Everything tastes the same, Oily, Non veg- products

All you can eat chinese at 9.90 euros

Quality wasnt amazing, a bit too oily, but this place offers something difficult to find in Madrid, all you can eat vegan buffet, and chinese vegan food. The experience was nice, the place is very big, so you can bring all your friends here. Even if i didn't like the food too much I'd give it a second opportunity

Mainly

Shi Shang offers an "eat as much as you can" lunch deal with a large variety of dishes. Most of the stuff is vegan, except for the desserts which are conveniently labelled.

The stars of the buffet are mainly fried food (there is tempura, spring rolls, some kind of fried dough balls, ...) and many different mock meats (sweet and sour "pork", beef, chicken, ...). It also has a sushi selection and some fresh veggies.

The food is tasty and really filling. The staff is also quite friendly.

I would prefer if it had a larger selection of noodles and rice dishes.

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Small selection of rice and noodles

Pros: Baratisimo

Really nice

If you're into vegan chinese buffet restaurants, you'll find it great, if you're not it may not be the one for you. Almost everything is vegan and the vegetarian options are labeled so it's easy not to make a mistake.
The staff is not very close to clients but they're efficient for sure.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options

Vegan Chinese food

If you like Chinese, cheap restaurants this place is for you. Everything is vegan (excluding some desserts), have a great selection of faux meats, one tastes better other less, but in general the place is worth of being visited, especially because is a buffet-style that is really cheap, even in the evenings.

Pros: Chinese food, all you can eat

Rude and unwelcoming

It doesn't matter if you eat here every day, and that you are the only one in the restaurant half the time, the staff are rude and clearly do not want your business. Also opens late every day. Ate here frequently, but had enough of the attitude. Won't be back.

Cons: Rude.

Great Chinese buffet in Madrid!

This is a great place for vegans - the food is authentically Chinese and the buffet has a good variety of options. A couple of desserts contain dairy, but these are clearly marked. The staff does not speak much English, but enough to get by. The only thing that bothered us was that they gave us two smaller bottles of water instead of one large one, which would have been cheaper. If you want water, ask for the large bottle. Other than that small thing, it's a great place to eat.

Pros: Good variety of choices and savory buffet is all v, Dairy desserts are clearly labeled and vegan desse

Cons: Ask for a large bottle of water instead of two sma

A really great Chinese vegan buffet with noodles, rice, sushi, vegan chicken, vegan beef etc. and nice dessert (ice cream, fresh fruits, although some desserts are not vegan but vegetarian). A really nice place in the heart of Madrid. Definitely recommend :)

Great experience

This was one of my favorite places in Madrid that we ate on. It was much cheaper than other meals I ate in the city and this was a all you can eat buffet. All of the savory dishes were vegan, some of the dishes that I remember were noodles, woks, fried rice, springrolls, "beef"- and "chicken"- stews, sushi, and different salads. Not all of the desserts were vegan which was a dissapointment since the savory food was vegan. But the had a fruit salad, fresh food and a vegan cake to choose from. All of this for only 8.90€ And it's located in the city center, definitely a place worth visiting of you like Asian cuisine!

Pros: Affordable , Mostly vegan, Nice personnel

Cons: Not everything was vegan

Tasty food

Quite a typical Chinese all-you-can-eat place.

They also offer a take away box that you can make yourself. However, the box is quite small and cost 4.5 Eur, so not really a good deal. It's better to eat in.

Gran descubrimiento

Pros: gran variedad , buffete vegetariano

A great place to fill up.

This is the second time I've visited here after a previous trip to Madrid in 2014. A great selection of mock meat and vegetable dishes, sushi, salad and some lovely deserts as well. Really friendly and helpful staff and at a fantastic price.

Mucha comida.

Amazing chineese food!

It's difficult to believe that there are no meat, because all recipes look like the real ones: chicken with lemon, oister sauce beef....are amazing, taste like the originals but are vegan. The best option if you love chineese food.
