Absolutely aamzing lasagna - Edit
I had the chili cheese sticks and tacos (which are in fried shells so I ate like nachos). Both incredible tasty. Very nice restaurant. Kind staff. Many vegan options. Im definitely coming back. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable.

So much potential, but the staff and pricing need a lot of work - Edit
The staff is too busy on their cell phones to provide any customer service. Had to go ask for mustard, had to go ask for bill, had to go ask for right beer. (Which didn't get) the waitress said the beer selection was ok draft so I ordered and got bottle. Asked for the draft and said no we only sell bottles...... So yah...
Read moreFood was mediocre, but has potential to be good. Just the pricing was more then any other vegan restaurant I've seen throughout the Philippines sadly. Doesn't warrant the price / value / service given here.
Pros: Menu pretty much all vegan, Good was quick, Ample portion
Cons: Expensive, Lacking in taste, very bland, Customer service was non-existent. Cell phones...

Day to day. - Edit
At it's best 5 stars and worst 2. Food and service varies day to day. I eat here once a week, since there is very few vegan options in the Philippines. Sometimes it's great and get my food in 20 min and other times OK and 45 min. Also a few months a ago we found out the bread had milk in it. They changed it immediately but yea.

UNREAL - Edit
This place is unbelievable
Read moreIt’s absolute veggie perfection
I was part of a group all of which were meat eaters and they joined me at least once everyday eating at Shaka! Most days we went for breakfast AND dinner.
I worked my way through every one of the five awesome burgers. My favourite was Sawadee Khap with Clockwork Orange a close second. The flavours were expertly balanced.
Breakfast options were fab. The pancakes were delicious and the Bomb Dia smoothie bowl was just beautiful.
I loved this place. I didn’t want to go anywhere else.
Friendly and quick service (sometimes rare for SEAsia!)
There is also a water refill
We saw them making so much there. All the sauces made there. We saw them whizzing up the sauce for the Sloppy Jose with all fresh ingredients. Very impressive. No processed cr4p!
Pros: All fresh! , Excellent flavours , Big portions (never left hungry!)
Cons: Not fully vegan , Busy at peak times

Very tasty burgers! - Edit
We ate here a couple of times and the burgers are really outstanding. The bowls with bulgur and rice are also very good. Sadly the vegan cheese that is used for many of the other products is not so outstanding but rather a little boring.

Good but many options out of stock - Edit
We had two of the burgers. I can’t remember the exact name but I had the “Indian” one which featured a mash potato patty and was delicious! A lot of the options were out of stock and I was looking forward to having the jackfruit dishes, in the end we could only have the burgers. There is a long wait for food too but that seems to be the case in the Philippines in general.

It was just ok - Edit
It was so nice to find a veggie place in Panglao, but honestly we were underwhelmed. Everything we ordered seemed to either be missing something or was just lacking taste. The menu looks great, and we were really excited to try lots of things, but the food let us down. With a little tweaking, I think this place could be amazing! But it's great that there is this option right near Alona beach!

This place is the cat's meow when you are a vegan traveling in the Phils. Vegan lasagna with cashew cheese is a killer, as are their veggie burger and tacos. Great drinks and smoothies, and very attractive staff if you care ;)

Great Vegan Food - Edit
The Food is just amazing. Everything except of a few dishes are vegan. The vegan Burgers are basically the best thing ever. Small minus is that you have to wait 50 minutes sometimes.

Great food but service not ideal - Edit
The food here is great. This was our main point of call for our breakfast and most dinners during our stay in Bohol. Highly recommend the pancakes and the Cloud 9 smoothie bowl.
Read moreWe have one criticism of here and that is the service. On each occasion it was a pot luck on what would be brought to the table first. In many cases one persons meal would arrive and be eaten (or left to be cold) before anybody else’s drinks and food were brought over. We and other tables had to constantly chase the friendly and helpful staff to see where our food was. This is a small establishment with a small kitchen that seems to struggle with the popularity and demands of the great food.
Do highly recommend but not if you are in a hurry.
Pros: Vegan options, Great food, Breakfast options
Cons: Poor service

Food was not tasty at all. We had one of the burgers and the lasagna and they were both pretty poor and overpriced. We felt the restaurant is more like a place to hang out and take the instagram photo but not to really enjoy food.
