Yapchae japchae, not bad

Had yapchae japchae, not bad! Also had some free appetizer, like tofu and stuff.

Good place to visit with other non-vegetarians, as there are options for all.

Very limited vegan choices .

To add more vegan choices eg vegan stew.

Pros: Nice environment

Cons: Very limited vegan choices , Little vege ingredients in the meal, Not worth the money

Vegetarian Options

Seoul Yummy offers 3 vegetarian mains – yachae japchae ($12.80), yachae bibimbab ($13.80), and doenjang jjigae ($13.80). I had the yachae japchae, which consisted of stir-fried glass noodles with crunchy vegetables (black fungus, capsicum, carrot, cucumber, opted for no onion) and chewy umami mushrooms (enoki, shiitake). I would have appreciated the option of adding egg, tofu, or meat analogues for protein. The glass noodles were more on the soft rather than bouncy side, and the overall taste was more on the sweet rather than savoury side. The vegetarian banchan / side dishes were the refreshingly sour and spicy pickled cucumber and radish; the beansprout and kimchi contained chicken and/or fish sauce. Overall, it was a simple, tasty Korean meal. I appreciate the fact that there were vegetarian options available in a mainstream Korean F&B eatery, as well as the fact that the staff were able to advise us accordingly.
