Seabirds has been one of my favorite vegan places to eat since they were a food truck in Orange County. I am so happy they are in my neighborhood now! I love the locals bowl add BBQ jackfruit, brussel sprouts small plate, butternut enchiladas, cauliflower ceviche, and the beet burger (to make GF you can order it on arugula). To be the honest, the whole menu is absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong.

Read moreThe waiting staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Taquitos, a bowl of French onion soup and a waffle with vegan ice cream. The taquitos were tasty, and what made them better than average was the sour cabbage put on top which gave them a more fresh flavor. The soup was what I expected based on the look if the dish. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this on the menu, as I rarely see vegan French onion soup anywhere.
The waffle was a tad hard and a bit disappointing. It think this could use some work.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal.

They have a great selection of food and drinks. This place is a must if you’re in town. Love the ambiance and music. I’d suggest small plates to try a bunch of items. Brussels sprouts, Mac and Cheese and taquitos were SO good! Save room for the Chaffle!

Fantastic vegan food! So many choices on the menu, we got a few dishes to share. The kimchi tacos were yummy. Also the purple taquitos were tasty, however the burnt Brussels sprouts were way too salty for me. Dessert was also amazing - we shared the Chaffle. Yum! Oh and alcoholic kombucha - tasty!

Local Favorite Whenever I’m in Town - Edit
Love coming into this little gem of a place whenever I’m in town! They have Kombucha, beer, and vegan eats that can make anyone super happy! Love the grilled cheese, recently had the purple taquitos; delicioso but next time I would order it without the sauce it comes with (it’s just not my style). Highly recommend to my vegan and non-vegan friends! I’ve taken many non-vegans and they’ve enjoyed their meal!

This is the place you bring your non-vegan friends to prove to them vegan food can be amazing. Staff is always extra friendly, food is always served quickly and they always have specials and new things coming to the menu. Must-haves are: purple taquitos, grilled avo tacos, meatball pizza, grilled cheese, and nachos (Fridays only!) Great selection of drinks as well

Whether you're vegan or not, you will love this gem of a restaurant in downtown Long Beach. The staff is incredibly friend;y including Stephanie, the owner. The decor is beautiful & calming. And the food is fresh & delicious. Our first visit was in January & we've averaged twice a week since! I've sent many non-vegan friends there & they all come back raving. I'm always asked what my favorite dish is & I seriously can't decide because I LOVE everything! If you go, tell Stephanie Erin sent you!!

We had the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and avocado tacos. The soup was warm, not hot, but delicious. The taco was buried in cabbage so I had to dig for the avocado. The grilled cheese was delicious but was buried in pesto sauce. Then we had the preach crumble, which was amazing.

Read moreBoth times I've gone I've ordered the purple taquitos and I'll probably order them every time, they're that good. I also had the bibimbap bowl and the avocado tacos - both these dishes were good as well. I got the adult pop tart to go and it was delightful but cold since they stored it in the fridge. If I had known it wasn't made there I probably wouldn't have ordered it - now I'm not sure if they make any of their desserts outside of the churro waffle thing.
The second time I went there for brunch and along with the taquitos, we got the biscuit bomb and the vegan version of eggs benedict. I didn't care for the benedict but the bomb was good. I was celebrating so I didn't mind paying $9 for a small biscuit sandwich; I may not order this again though since there are other dishes that are probably more bang for your buck.
I like the atmosphere here and I'm going to save it for special occasions so the novelty doesn't wear off.

We LOVE Seabirds! We went to the one in Costa Mesa, and are so excited to have one in LB now. They had a special of phenomenal nachos with jackfruit, and all kinds of delectable goodies, and their jackfruit sliders are bomb. We also had some purple potato taquitos which were super tasty. They also make a pretty awesome beer-battered avocado taco! You can't go wrong here, it's just classy, fresh, innovative, and always makes me happy.
