Read moreI had the earthy burger with sweet potato instead of bread bun, and it was just perfect! Recommend even if you're not gluten free. My boyfriend had the spiral galaxy and it had the perfect crust to filling ratio, there were plenty of veggies, not too much crust, and the side salad offered the perfect balance with the fresh crunchy vibrant flavours that the pie lacked. We really enjoyed our meal, and the waitress was very friendly and attentive, good customer service.

Vegan menu - Edit
It was nice to find somewhere that actually had clear vegan options on the menu. It is hard to find that in Kamari. Nice food, I had the happy salad which I enjoyed, my wife had a black rice risotto which was nice, her brother had stuffed vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and we all enjoyed the meal.

There is plenty of choices for vegans, the staff is very friendly and the location is great as well. They even offered us some traditional greek vegan desserts and they were amazing.

We tried the pumpkin tofu ravioli, the black sand risotto and the spiral galaxy. All were bland. My partner thought the ravioli was decent but not spectacular, I didn’t like it much. The risotto was ok, but again not very flavorful. The galaxy (vegetable tart) was bland and the crust was like cardboard. The place itself had a nice ambiance and was right on black sand beach, which was nice. Service was good. Too bad the food just wasn’t on par with the atmosphere.

I loved this place so much I kept going back. They have a seperate vegan/vego menu which is so good, I wanted to try everything. Had the avocado salad, sweet potato and chickpeas and the halloumi vege platter - all of which were incredible. Definitely visit here if you’re in Santorini.

This place serves meat, but first of all all the vegetarian options are clearly highlighted. Furthermore they have a full page of pure vegan dishes! And they all tasted excellent! The fava and eggplant dip as well as the baked sweet potato with chickpeas were great!

We were delighted to find a restaurant with a whole page of vegetarian/vegan options on the black beach of Santorini! It's presented very nicely; this isn't casual greek food. I had a beautiful sweet potato and garbonzo bean dish. I'll post pictures of my family's dishes and the menu.

Location on happy cow is wrong, I added the picture with the correct location so go and have a look. Overall, great dining experience, we had asparagus wrapped with aubergine, courgette salad with cashew dressing, some vegetable bake and hummus with corn bread. Separate vegan menu so what’s not to like. Pricey but I guess it’s rather typical for Santorini‘s on the beach type of restaurant.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Highly recommend checking out Navy's at Kamari Beach. There is a whole page of vegan food, plus about 4-5 other options throughout the menu that are also already vegan. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and there is a great view from the tables overlooking the beach. Food was tasty and a good change from just eating falafel wraps in Thira. Well worth the €1.80 bus ride there :)

Best place for vegans in Kamari - Edit
We went to Navy's almost every day we were on the east side of Santorini. There are loads of great vegan options, clearly marked, and the staff were lovely and clearly knew exactly what vegan means! There are more indulgent and lighter healthier options, which we appreciated. They also have soy milk for coffees and freddo cappuccinos, unlike most places in Santorini. Navy's also has one of the best spots on the beach where it is sandier, and if you're going to eat there you can hang on the sunloungers all day. Highly recommended!

The tast of the food was excellent. The portions big and the price def ok for what you get. They also were extremly friendly. We even got a vegan dessert on the house. Would go there again if i would not have to leave...
