Pricey, but totally worth it

The detail put into every plate makes the price totally worth it. Amazing food. The cheese plate is surprisingly heavy and almost made me cry (I haven’t had a cheese board in over a decade). They have daily specials that are also fantastic. Their display case of desserts is drool worthy. Some of the food is cooked, and duly marked on the menu.

Pros: Amazing food

Another must try Ubud spot!

I can always rely on Sayuri for a filling healthy raw vegan meal after yoga. The raw wraps are so fresh and soft, and very filling. I also get the nut cheese and cooking supplies from here.

Pros: Raw Vegan & very fresh GF, Amazing Falafel Wrap, Generous portions

Cons: Slow delivery

Best vegan ever

I’ve had probably the best vegan lasagna ever, filled with their own home made vegan cheeses( raw-mezan) and nut-creamy bechamel.

Pros: 100% vegan, Huge desserts display, Raw vegan cooking classes

Decent raw food, good service, can-be-improved hygiene

Not sure if I’m the only one who experienced this, but the number of flies hovering around my food made me very annoyed throughout the short 30min dinner on my second visit. Even so, I have to agree that the dinner itself is not bad - very comforting and flavourful, with very creamy cashew cheese that adds so much plus points to the dish as a whole. The raw cakes were not bad too - especially the matcha raw cake, which was much more flavourful than the mango raw cake. I would love for a stronger matcha bitterness, and no cacao added to the base though...

Pros: Great service, Nice food, Amazing vibes

Cons: Hygiene?

Great place to work from real mixture of people, digital nomads, families, friends, solo travellers if you want to make friends this is probably the place!
Highly recommend!

Pretty desserts

We went for desserts as they have a huge variety and all are raw. But as happens to most raw desserts, the tiramisu and berry cake were full of coconut oil which made it really heavy.

Pros: variety of desserts

Cons: expensive

Incredible! Vegan heaven..

The restaurant is incredible nice and yummy. The crew is very friendly and the restaurant is lovely arranged. Since I am from Berlin I thought I already know vegan heaven..but I was wrong! One of the best places I ever have eaten.

For Indonesia it's a little bit expensive, but totally worth it. Go there and don't forget to order the waffles with icecream :)

Satisfying on all levels!

Wow, this place is amazing. The quality of the food is outstanding. There is so much complexity and variety to the flavours and textures. I had the Reuben sandwich, the day's special, and it was a real experience, I will surely recommend it. I also took the mango cake and it was delicious. The interiors are cosy with lots of wooden tables and an elevated area with cushions. There is also an outside area. Prices are on the high side but worth it!

Pros: Great quality, Chilled atmosphere, Lovely interiors

Menu a little misleading

Beautiful space with delicious raw desserts. We wanted this place to be amazing. Unfortunately, in a restaurant that promotes it's raw chef, I struggled to find a raw meal that sounded appetising.

The menu descriptions are misleading (maybe a language issue?) which meant my friend and I were both kind of disappointed with our meals.

The salad bowl's 'big bowl of mixed greens' meant a few pieces of romaine lettuce and no other greens. The 'tahini' dressing was bright pink and very sweet (berries?) with no discernable tahini/sesame flavour.

In the Nourish-a-bowl - described as a rice bowl with steamed veggies, root vegetables and greens - the rice was a very small pile in the middle, there was only one kind of root vegetable (taro), and one green (bok choi) half the bowl was salad, romaine lettuce, sliced cucumber and sliced tomato.

I think Sayuri is better than average so 4 stars ☺. However, it would be a lot easier to choose a meal you want to eat if the menu descriptions were accurate.

Pros: quality organic ingredients, great desserts

Cons: confusing menu, needs more appealing raw choices

Good food!

The maca mocha smoothie is delicious and so is the bite me sand which (avocado, pesto, vegan cream cheese and tomato). It is a little pricey after the tax and service is added but the food is so good I didn’t mind!

Pros: Good food

Cons: a little pricey

very high quality vegan food!

This place really lives up to the hype. All the food is so high quality and really original. And even with so many customers, they’re still able to deliver the food on short time. As a Norwegian, I really commend the person coming up with the papaya smoked salmon. It is so good, tastes similar and better than the original.

Cons: too many people

BEST PLACE ON BALI (or in the world?)!

Gosh - Sayuri Healing Food was our home for two weeks. We went there each day, sometimes twice or for several hours to work there. The staff is the friendliest. I've rarely came across such nice people. The food is insanely good - I have no idea where to start. We tried the whole menu and loved each dish. If you are there on a Wednesday, try the daily special Norvegian style sandwich - JESUS CHRIST - the papaya "salmon" blew my mind. We loved literally everything; the smoothies and all the extras you could get, like amazing coconut cream or spirulina and also the cakes. They even have nutfree cakes! All vegan, mostly raw and very well labeled. Try the Chocomagic smoothie with extra whipped cream. No words. The cooking classes are also totally worth is, we were only two people and got as much food as we wanted in order to prepare our own dish. I was stuffed afterwards. They have great WiFi, a super cosy atmosphere and even showers. No need to leave like ... ever? Omg I am going to miss this place so much!

Pros: Exquisite food, big portions, Prices are more than okay, Loooovely staff

Cons: NOTHING

Good food, nice staff

Restaurant which is the second home to many yogis, I think. :) A regular suggested the special, Norwegian Gravlax, which was really good! Juice was healthy and yummie! May take a second to catch a waiter's eye and prices are above Bali prices (still extremely affordable though!), but well worth it!

We founded the place very sweet and quiet. They have Many choices. We take 2 raw dishes: the mexican lasagna (awsome) and a self composition salade. Their seasonnings are really good!

The food is very high quality

Amazing food. A large variety with raw and cooked vegan options.
He only thing is the service is pretty slow but as long as you are not in a rush there is no problem.

The breakfast waffle is killing it

We went to Sayuris' on our last day in Ubud. I had the breakfast waffle which was extremely good and my boyfriend had the dragonfruit breakfast bowl. The food was really good! I heard great things about the raw lasagna and would love to book a un-cooking class at the restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and you get water for free (which I think is a big plus).
I am definitely going back and try the chocolate mint smoothie and a raw main dish.

Pros: vegan, raw, cooked , creative meals, relaxed atmosphere

Cons: expensive

Awesome location for Raw food in Ubud

It's the Location for Raw food in Ubud. Been here for five days and tried nearly everything they had to get offer. From the Breakfast over the Main dishes to the desserts and drinks - everything is delicious and well priced. Organically produced and you can see that they are constantly on the chase for the next level. Even if you not looking for Raw foods there are cooked meals as well on the menu so everyone will find something. Included is a small store where you can find some beauty and food for take home.
