good value

Good buffet and delicious cakes...staff was friendly and helpful.
The only thing I didn't enjoy was the small room...it would be nicer in a bigger space..a bit claustrophobic

Pros: food, good value

Cons: setting too small

Delicious food and great range of cakes but serves Luwak

Loved this place and the price is amazing for what you get, however we found it bizarre that a fully vegetarian (heavily vegan) establishment would serve Luwak Coffee!

Delicious and healthy

Cost: 50,000 for all you can eat. I’ve been here every night so far during my time in ubud as I love this place so much. They have lots of different types of Tempe/tofu dishes (the bbq Tempe is delicious), eggplant curry, vegetable dishes, jackfruit curry, bean curry, sweet potato wedges, salad, vegetable broth... so much. They also sell vegan cakes (not included in the buffet (23,000 each). Love love love ❤️😋

Pros: Not oily , Variety , Lots of Tempe/tofu

Best Value in the World?

Despite sounding hyperbolic, I've never come across a better restaurant when you consider:

1. Ingredients come from family farm
2. Family run business with attentive and friendly staff
3. Incredible selection of salad, complementary deserts, and a variety of 8 different vegan options all for less than $3.50 usd.

Your proteins are tempeh and tofu options with sauces that change daily. Want to load up on carbs? Brown rice or creamy mashed pumpkin are plentiful and delicious.

Once you visit and try their selection of inexpensive and yummy food, you'll struggle to justify going anywhere else.

Tip: Vegan coconut ice cream and Ginger Caramel are an added cost but well worth it!

Pros: Delicious home cooked meal , Local ingredients unique to Bali, Incredible value

Amazing food! Great ice cream

It’s the most quick and filling food option for anybody who’s a regular at the Yoga Barn. The vegan, gluten free buffet is amazing and great value at 50k net. You have to pay before you start eating. I’m a big fan of their soy ice cream (they have matcha, pandas, mango, vanilla, chocolate) - it’s the cheapest vegan ice cream that I can find in Ubud and it’s soooo good!

Pros: Inexpensive , Vegan, Gluten free

Cons: A lot of their cakes aren’t vegan or gluten-free , You need some self control to not overeat

Super cheap, delicious, eat as much as you want

This is the single best vegan place I've been in Bali so far. Good staff, good food and super cheap.

In their buffet, which you can eat as much as you want for 50k, they have like 10 different options and even a soup.

Everything is vegan apart from some cakes.

They are open for long hours too, so go ahead and enjoy it.

Pros: Very cheap, Delicious , Local food

Cons: None

Heaps of great options. From what I understand all being vegan now. (Except some cakes) Cheap and tasty. What more do you want!

Pros: All vegan now from what I can tell. , Cheap. , Soooo tasty.

Cons: Might not get a table straight away at lunch time

amazingly tasty and cheap

I can't believe anyone says Vege Karma (next door) is better! Sawobali has at least 10 fully vegan curry, veg and bean dishes and 2 types of rice at all times and they are always hot. The turmeric broth seems to always be on and is soooo tasty. For 50k you can't beat this place and you can have unlimited water for free. My favourite place in Ubud

Pros: all vegan except milk on coffee cheap great variet

Cons: bad wifi - but maybe you could try chatting with p

Go hungry!

For the price and variety I was really impressed with the quality of the food. It was not oily or bland as often the case with buffets but fresh and very flavourful. The plates were refilled with different dishes all the time and even some fruit and dessert is included in the price.
Your best bet in Ubud when you are really hungry.

Mediocre buffet

Came here for the first time and buffet food was cold which is odd considering how hot it was outside while visiting. Food was mediocre and a bit bland, especially compared to Veggie Karma's buffet directly next door. Not all desserts here are vegan like their sign inside says, so be aware. Overall it was just a cramped environment with ok food. Prices are reasonable.

Outstanding food at an incredible price

If in Kubud you simply have to eat here. The all you can eat buffet is a party for the taste buds. Everything is absolutely delicious and freshly made. AND they sell (and make) the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had.

Pros: choice, price , run by a super nice family

Best value for money

"Can't afford veganism" is just no excuse anymore. This buffet is AMAZING.
Took many omni-friends here and they all loved it and told me they definitely will come back.
Buffet - All you can eat (!!) - has some main dishes they have everyday but some of it changes daily. Lots of tempeh, tofu, fresh salad, tomato and cooked veggies.

Excellent value for money

All-you-can-eat buffet at a very reasonable price (50.000 rupias), a vast choice of desserts (for which you will have to pay extra) and friendly staff, this a special combination that will make you want to come back more than once. The buffet is comprised of hot dishes, salads, soups, fruit and water. You can eat as much as you can and come back for more if you are not full with the first round. There are some things that are better than others but all in all the food tasted good and there is a surprisingly wide choice. I will surely become a regular during my stay here

Pros: Cheap, Vast choice, Friendly staff

great food & superb staff

Incredibly friendly team. The buffet is available for a great price and features a lot of classic dishes but also some stuff I've never seen before (coconut salad?). The cakes are also super nice. Definitely a good lunch spot, I'll come back.

Nothing beats this place in Ubud!!!

When we first came to Sawobali, we were left amazed how rich and delicious their buffet table is. Besides the regular Balinese dishes they are serving free water, fruits and a dessert - all for 50k! We filled our tummies and we're very happy. Also, mango and apple cakes as well as vegan milkshakes are very delicious.

Pros: Full buffet of 100% vegan dishes, Inexpensive

Best Buffet!!!

I spent 2 weeks eating at this place daily. Best buffet in SEA!!! Cheap, huge variety, delicious. Lovely staff, great karma. Buffet had more than a dozen fresh, hot choices, plus some fresh veggies, crackers, filtered water, and soup.
Come an hour after they open as not everything is available right away. Also great location, right in front of largest supermarket in town (big C).

Pros: Price, Delicious and Healthy food, Endless amount

Cons: You tend to eat too much
