Amazing food!! - Edit
The food here is SO GOOD. They ran out of tofu for a breakfast burrito but I had the pad Thai instead- probably the best pad Thai I’ve ever had!
Read moreStaff are friendly and every vegetarian dish can be make vegan. They have a separate menu for brunch (which finishes at 3) and dinner.
Bonus doggy in the restaurant following the owner around whist he served food 😍

Went to have lunch but it was already 2.30 pm so the choice was kinda limited, nevertheless I really liked the vegetable curry I got. Tap water for free is a big plus!

Good food and atmosphere - Edit
I've been to Satsang many times now, and it's one of my favorite restaurants in Prague. All the dishes are delicious, especially the yellow curry, and the atmosphere is very calming. They also have good beer.

Please try the mac and cheese - Edit
I‘ve been here two times. The first time I had the vegan bun bo nam bo, which I loved, and the second time I had the Mac and cheese as a starter, which was the best I ever had! I wish I would have ordered a big plate.

Good brunch and cozy place - Edit
Went here for a Sunday brunch and was not dissapointed. Went for the scrambled tofu and added a few items to the dish (all items are added extra and therefore you can modify your scramble to your liking).
Read moreVery cozy place and I liked the open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. Also wondered how they got the tofu so crispy, guess I need to go back home and practice more.
Pros: Good food, Very cozy, Prossecco on tap

Awesome food but expensive - Edit
I have been to Satsang twice, always for brunch so I cannot say anything about their dinner menu.
Read moreMy first time I ordered the savoury option - scrambled tofu. It was tasty though the tofu was prepared in a bit different way than I am used to.
My second time I went for strawberry pancakes. A really big portion (I was struggling to finish it) and really sweet and tasty! My problem was that, though the menu says maple syrup is included, they aren't very generous with it. I would prefer if you could get your own jug of maple syrup and use as much as you want.
My big problem with Satsang are the prices. Not only the prices are REALLY high, but if you want to have a proper meal, you need to order many extras, and they charge a lot for them! Also, I would appreciate more vegan brunch options, not just two.
The kitchen is open which is nice but your clothes can get some egg smell!

Update September 2020: I finally tried their lunch menu offer (changing every day) and it was super delicious! Also the staff are really nice and friendly, there is water free of charge (not common in Prague) and the interior is very cosy. Also outdoor seating. Very happy this time.
Update August 2021: We found a hair in one of our meals, and the situation was not handled very professionally by staff. Upsetting. Also, the waiting time was really long this time. And I was very disappointed by the "veggie sausage", which turned out to be just ONE very tiny sausage, for the price of 2 euros! Disgrace.

Good brunch - Edit
The pancakes and tofu scramble from brunch were both AMAZING. Brunch was packed when I went, and service slow, but it seemed like that was an anomaly. The dinner menu is way more catered to vegetarians than to vegans, so I would recommend other places nearby with more options for vegans.

Really nice and romantic place for a date night! - Edit
The place is nicely designed with open kitchen, looks hip and fancy. It is an ideal place for a date night. We tried Pad Thai and Pananng curry and both were delicious. They also offer nice beer (Matuška and Kocour - yes, I consider beer as a great drink for a romantic dinner:)). Service is friendly and fast. The place is little costy for Prague standards, but you got what you paid for.

Nice food - Edit
Not a plant based restaurant as listing says but a vegetarian one with vegan options- lots of vegan options clearly marked. Some blurb about their dairy being kind lol but apart from that very tasty food indeed... I had a gorgeous Thai curry and my husband had the beyond burger with a really nice sauce and fries. Decor done in a classIc loft style; bare bricks and bulbs. It was nice and atmospheric. Worth the quick bus trip out of the centre to get to and pleasant staff. I’d go again but do book.

The Best Pancakes EVER - Edit
Walked here from the Old Town to get brunch. It was quite a long walk but 100% worth it once we took the first bite of the pancakes. Be sure to ask for vegan spread instead of butter on the pancakes. The pancakes were sweet and light and fluffy and we chose to have them with Strawberries, Bananas and candied walnuts (which were amazing). We also had the 'Tofu Scramble' which was actually chickpea, not Tofu, but still really yummy. We had them with Mushrooms, Avocado and Spring Onions. The Mushrooms were particularly salty but balanced out once eaten with the rest of the dish. Again ask for vegan spread instead of butter. I'd definitely go back!

Delicious brunch and dinner - Edit
We came here for the vegan brunch on the weekend. The scrambled tofu was delicious and I really like the fact that you can choose the ingredients you want in it. I like the texture of the scramble as it's got a bite to it rather than being sloppy which I have found in other places. We were impressed with the brunch so decided to try the dinner and I am so glad we do because it was SO GOOD. The vegan pad thai was so incredible I did not want it to end and my husband loved the yellow curry. The only thing I would say is on the menu it says 'cruelty free' which is technically incorrect as they use eggs and milk in non-vegan options. Even though it's not fully vegan I would definitely recommend visiting this place.
