A Filling Meal for its price! - Edit
One of my family relatives owns this restaurant so I may be biased, but when I went to this restaurant with my mother - the venue and vibe of Sasaya Cafe was really comforting. Not only did it have meals, but it also sold reusable straws, vegan chocolate, vegan biscuits and treats which was really cool! I ordered the tempe-katsu curry and vegan cheesecake which was stunning. The temple katsu-curry is affordable despite being vegan, and it was a filling meal I really liked. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is vegan, want to try good and affordable vegan food, etc.

My favourite place in Tokyo - Edit
This restaurant is about a 10-15 minute walk from my work so I go regularly. The food is tasty, and I always feel good after I eat there. They do a delicious curry set and I also recommend the tempeh Katsu! If you don’t want a curry they have a hummus sandwich set. They also have a variety of desserts to choose from. The venue is large and spacious, staff are friendly and if you’re struggling will try and communicate in English with you. After all this there is great Jazz music playing.
Read moreAbout a two minute walk from the location is a nice park with a beautiful water feature you can enjoy.
Honestly my favourite place in Tokyo!
Pros: Whole menu is vegan, including desserts , Great venue that plays jazz with big portions , Also a museum and next to a park
Cons: Drink sizes are a little small , A bit expensive

Okay breakfast, cozy atmosphere - Edit
I arrived a little bit over 10 AM and sadly only one of the three breakfast items—the soup set—was available. It was okay, but I don’t think it was worth the 700-or-so yen I paid for it. Probably should’ve waited until lunch hours; I really enjoyed the place’s atmosphere. Next time!

Vegan cafe on the park - Edit
This is a lovely location with a walking park just outside. There are bits and bobs you can buy in the store, like t-shirts or tea. The menu has a curry, hummus sandwich and a tempeh dish. The soft drinks are amazing. The food is tasty and comes out quickly. We've been a couple of times for lunch and will go again.

Great food. Could put 1 or 2 more dishes in the menu. Weird that avocado is not in the menu, but still very good.

Amazing cafe - Edit
Love, love, love this place. Went for breakfast and they have a perfect little menu of a small treat with a coffee or tea. We had the scone and muffin and they were wonderful. The atmosphere was so cozy and relaxing we ended up staying for two hours just lounging. We also ordered a mystery drink that was a jelly coffee float, very delicious soy ice cream on top, and the apple cake which was very pleasant.

Good restaurant - Edit
The scones “menu” is literally a tiny scone ... It was a very small portion for 500 yen in my opinion. I would recommend going there for lunch, not breakfast.

Simply beautiful. - Edit
An old favourite of my girlfriend, this was my first time here. We both chose the breaded tempeh lunch set which was delicious, a good sized portion with a nice mixed salad in a tasty sesame dressing, some pickled veg, rice and a little cup of soup. A perfect lunch and a great atmosphere in this cafe which also sells nice t-shirts. It's a nice little walk from the metro, along the little canal in the shadow of the Skytree tower.

Nice Indian Curry - Edit
Very friendly staff, menu in English. I've ordered curry, it was very nice, but portions could be bigger in my opinion... You can try there some vegan cakes and organic beers. Location near to Tokyo Skytree.

Tasty Indian style food - Edit
We walked past this cosy restaurant on a Monday assuming it was closed, but luckily for us it was open! They have very good Indian style food that is very tasty, and appears to be very fresh. We tried curry with breaded fried tempeh and brown rice and liked it a lot.

Cute - Edit
This place was in a really cute area near a river and park. We walked here before going up the Skytree. Really lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. My partner got a sandwich which he loved. I got a curry plate and a slice of cake which were both really nice. Would recommend coming here. Fair price as well.

Great find! - Edit
We had lunch here today, which was just as pictured in the photos above: wonderfully crispy deep-fried tempeh (yum!), fresh salad and tasty rice, with the option to add a curry for a larger portion.
Read moreThe staff were friendly and helpfully explained what the dishes were (in limited English but still much better than my Japanese!).
The cafe itself was spacious and quiet, which made for a pleasant, relaxing experience. The Oyokogawa Water Park just outside is also worth a visit (if only to cross the many little bridges).
Pros: Friendly, English-speaking staff, Tasty veggie food, Pleasant ambience

super cute mummy hide out - Edit
the cafe was relatively close to my hostel so I took a walk there and bought a raspberry cheesecake. The lady could only tell me the flavour in french but I am lucky that I speak it and that she even spoke anything other than japanese. it was really really yummy - i honestly have no idea how they got it to taste and feel like that.

Awesome! - Edit
Set in a really lovely location amidst a park. If you have a bike, it's a nice and relaxing ride along the path leading up to the cafe. Staff were really nice. I had the soy masala chai which was the bomb :) along with some cake and ice cream. I believe everything is vegan and mostly organic but do double check. The atmosphere is also very calm and relaxing. Fairly priced. Recommended!

Grabbed a quick breakfast bite - Edit
We came here for breakfast, so can't comment on the rest of the menu. We had a few muffins to choose from and went for a tomato/tofu muffin and a gluten free Matcha/marmalade muffin. The texture of both was a little on the grainy side, but flavours were yummy. The tea served alongside was excellent.
Read moreThe cafe is quite spacious and we were the only people there at about 10 in the morning. It feels a little Scandinavian in style, with larger proportions than many other places we went. They also have a little shop where we bought some pretty cherry blossom cookies.

I was there just now and I have to say that the food was good but a bit dry(I got the tempeh with rice and curry and my friends got the rice with tempeh and we all agree that the tempeh needs some sauce to go with the rice to be better balanced.
