Disappointed - Edit
Very surprised after reading good reviews that this establishment made so many mistakes.
Read moreThe lentil and chickpea pasty had no lentil and chickpeas just potatoes and a bit of meat even though it was labelled vegan!
Big queue but not worth it.
Very dry pastry too

Sad curried parsnip pasty - Edit
To be fair to them, we came when they were selling out so they only had one vegan option left, the curried parsnip. It was flavourless and cold, none of us liked it.

Three options - Edit
We tried the thai veg pasty, very tasty and wholemeal. Same size as meat options which is always nice!

Four Vegan Choices - Edit
Not one, but FOUR different types of vegan pasty here. We arrived at 10 am and ordered the vegan ones, which are made fresh, and they were ready by 11.30, just in time for us to drive 240 miles home with them. This is a lovely, busy shop, and you can't beat the freshness. I could see them making my vegan pasties as I was paying for them

Best pasties in Looe - Edit
This shop serves the best pasties in Looe. I seem to remember, a long time ago, discovering that their pastry contained lard, so hadn't even looked in for a long time. Very pleased to discover that they now serve vegan pasties and that they're still far better than any others in town!

Perfect! - Edit
Had the Thai squash pasty which was fantastic! Also tried the chickpea and lentil which was also fabulous.
Read moreHaving visited here before becoming vegan I wondered if the vegan pasty would be as good as the traditional - it did not disappoint at all, in actual fact it was better!
Pros: 3 vegan pasty options today, Lovely little local pasty shop
Cons: Always a queue (totally worth it though!)

Awful experience - Edit
First visit to Sarah’s. I was served by a miserable jobs worth who was Covid OTT. Typical you’re not from round here tone. Pasty nice... shame about the customer service!

Great Vegetable Vegan Pasty - Edit
While in Looe we came across this little gem. There was a separate vegan menu of which the pasty’s are stored separately from the other options! Cost was £4 which was in line with other shops in the town. Hit the spot and fuelled our 5 mile walk back to Polperro.

Delicious pasties! - Edit
We had the spicy chickpea and lentil, and the Thai-spiced butternut squash pasties. There was also vegetable and curried parsnip flavours on offer. Great selection of pasties and the best we've had in Cornwall. Also the fruit cake is tasty and has very friendly service😄

Cons: Can't think of any😄
