Amei a comida desse restaurante! Realmente me fez relembrar o sabor da comida nordestina! O ambiente e o atendimento são excelentes, gostei tanto que já visitamos três vezes. Duas vezes pedimos essa feijoada maravilhosa, nas palavras da minha amiga onívora "não perde em nada para a versão não vegana".

Comida típica nordestina toda vegana. O ambiente é pequeno e fica numa rua bem tranquila. O cardápio conta com várias entradas, pratos principais, acompanhamentos e sobremesas. A comida chegou rápido, mas o restaurante também não estava cheio. É muito saborosa e os pratos têm preços justos.

Amazing food, amazing staff - Edit
São Saruê offers many staples from northeastern Brazillian cuisine with a lot of love and taste put into it. The price is fair, the portions are honest, but the flavour is amazing. Gota Srena is a MUST! Definitely worth a visit if you wish to get a full vegan, Brazilian food experience. Plus, the service and ambience are just as good.

Lovely vegan restaurant in São Paulo - Edit
I decided that I had to go to this restaurant when I discovered it was based on food from the Nordeste region of Brazil and I was not disappointed at all! I’ve tried the moqueca, acarajé and a combo of fried food (coxinha, dadinho de tapioca, bolinho de feijoada and bolinho de baião de dois) and everything was very tasty. Would definitely go back!

Very disappointing experience - Edit
They did not have everything on the menu (it consists of only 4 dishes) and the dish that I ordered did not have salad anymore. They do not know how to combine vegan meals as the dish came with rice and french fries and a disgusting faux fish that was mainly deep fried breadcrumbs. They brought me the bill immediately after I had finished the meal and pressured me into leaving. They also added to the menu price of 39.90 some additional charge which they didn't explain. I do not recommend this place at all.

Comida criativa. Moqueca com pedaços grandes de caju. Pra quem esta acostumado com moqueca com fruta (como banana da terra) acho q vale experimentar. Peixinhos-da-horta bem crocantes.
A cerveja estava mais pra morna do que pra gelada e o prato executivo, que na descricao do menu impresso que nos foi dado mencionava salada inclusa, nao incluia o item na verdade

Good marketing not so good food - Edit
We ordered Serena Sample and acaraje for appetizers and feijoada and Baiao de Dois for main entrance. Dadinho de tapioca was the best for the Serena Sample. The acaraje needs more work on the flavors. It did not reminded me of a real acaraje. I ate vegan acarajes before and it was much better. The feijoada tasted like regular beans my suggestion is to add vegan sausages, vegan bacon etc. Baiao de Dois did not remind me of the real taste so they should give a new name for the dish. We ordered three desserts: pudim de tapioca, orange cake and carrot cake wirh chocolare icing. They are all marvelous. Unfortunatelly I can not recommend this restaurant at this time. This is another vegan restaurant that does lots of good marketing but the food it is not at that level. There are better vegan places for you to eat.
