A special Christmas Eve! - Edit
I tried the dishes that showed up here at Happy Cow and ohh boy! they’re so good! They have a separated menu full of vegan dishes which is really great! It was a totally different experience for Christmas Eve and I loved! the place is small but nice and comfortable and the staff is very friendly!

The sign on the door isn't lying, they are very vegan friendly! - Edit
What an amazing find! For starters they have a whole page identified with the vegan dishes! And not just dishes that happen to be vegan, they go the full nine yards with stuff like Vegan Cheese Naan (I wholeheartdly recommend it) and Vegan Chicken Tikka Masala. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about Vegan dishes and will provide a great chat. The place is very cozy also. Loved it and will definitely go back some time soon.
Read moreLittle advice, if you can't find the Vegan page ask the staff because not all menus have it.
Pros: Whole Page for Vegan Dishes, Friendly and helpful staff, Very reasonable prices

So glad we turned the fully vegan search off - Edit
Because this food literally blew my mind. As per everyone else, I wish so much we could review this place 5 stars! Their vegan food was so delicious and they were so attentive and accommodating! Would bathe in a tub of their vegan curries not even kidding. The vegan chicken masala was delicious like everyone has said, but their other vegan curries are delicious too. We ordered 2 last night (chicken masala and daal taaka) and are back again tonight for three more. Straight up would come back to Lisbon just for this food. In heaven 😍

Amazing Nepalese Restaurant in the heart of Lisbon - Edit
So pleased to find this amazing restaurant whilst visiting Lisbon. Great vegetarian options and also a whole vegan menu. We came at the end of the Navarathri Festival so it was wonderful to be with them on this day. In fact we are here on our first evening in Lisbon and it was a very warm welcome indeed.

Full 5 star!!! - Edit
I so so wish I was allowed to rate this 5 star, but Happy Cow only allows this rating for fully vegetarian or vegan restaurants.
Read moreHowever, this is BY FAR the best vegan food we've had in Lisbon!!!! Went to multiple different restaurants, and they can't even be compared to the delicious meals we got here at Sanskar Nepal.
They have a FULL page vegan menu, and the 3 things we tried were just spot on: Korma, Dal Tarka and Vegetable Kar-something. Plus great naan. Authentic, yummy and generous portions for the price. We got takeaway for our flight that's how good it was.
Our friendly waiter was so kind and helpful. And the chef wants to appeal to vegans and vegetarians, so he is putting such an effort into the vegan experience. Fully deserve a 5 star rating.
Do yourself a favor, go here immediately!!
Pros: Authentic , Mind-blowingly delicious, Friendly staff

MUST GO!!!! Authentic, spicy, flavor packed. - Edit
HappyCow needs to change their rule that I can only give 4 stars to a restaurant that serves meat. This place deserves 6 stars! If you've suffered through some bad Lisbon vegan meals like I have here, you simply must eat here. Dishes are incredibly flavorful, well balanced and totally authentic Indian/Nepalese! Atmosphere is authentic, service is fantastic (we were given free poppadams and free rice with our dishes) and again, the food is simply spectacular. I got the sense they want to go fully vegan but need more vegans to show up and spread the word. Why limit a place like that to 4 stars??

Food Love - Edit
I fell in love with this little restaurant. The food is spicy and fresh. I had the Vegan Chicken Masala and the Garlic Naan. I wanted to eat it forever. The service was really good as well. They were so attentive, they even could remember us at our second visit - either that I'm vegan. Conclusion: absolutly recommended!

Would have been 5 stars but... - Edit
Would have been 5 stars but the app understandably will only give 4 to non vegan establishments.
Read moreI wouldn't normally make a non vegan place my first preferred choice but I was on a date with a skeptical carnivore.
As it happened - it all worked out really well. He enjoyed his meal but the vegan meal in particular was especially nice. Their vegan cheese naan was delicious and I already want to return.
Staff were pleasant, the place was cosy with a run down but clean kinda vibe. I pretty much loved it.
Pros: lots of vegan options, friendly staff, reasonable prices
Cons: not entirely vegan

Amazing Curry! Highly Recommend - Edit
They clearly want to attract vegans, as they have a sign outside and a dedicated menu. Would have given it 5 stars if the app would let me... (But it doesnt reward just veg-options)
Read moreFood was cheap, prompt and tasty. Better than some of the curries back in UK (which can be hard to beat). Staff pleasant and nice environment!
Reasonably priced for a capital city. Curries come with free (white) rice and complimentary popedoms and chutney
Even had vegan cheese naan
Would come again and again if I was local

Excellent (vegan) Indian food - Edit
We were very happy eating at this place! They have a special vegan menu which makes it much easier to chose from the full menu (which includes meat and dairy). We had two curries and they were delicious. Also the staff is really kind and open towards a vegan diet. Definite recommendation!

Excellent! - Edit
We had such a great meal here. The vegan options are extensive both on the Indian and on the Nepalese pages. Rice is included with the meal. The owners were friendly, helpful and generous. The restaurant is located on a nice, quiet street near the Praca Luis da Camoes away from the crowds but still close to the sites. It is near the Yes! Hostel and next door to a vegan shop. Try the Dahl Tarka. The lentils are cooked perfectly. Also, the Nepalese dish Vegetable Karai has such an interesting sauce unlike anything I have ever had. The owners are in the process of getting together a completely vegan menu. This food is delicious!
