So good! - Edit
Style: As with other traditional places, food here is served "buffet" style. That does not mean like in America where you ear all you can, be t rather than they have five or six dishes you can pick your two or three options from to create a dish.
Read moreHow to find: It is decorated with the traditional yellow and red flags outside which say vegetarian, but mean vegan typically. The symbol for vegan is what I think of as an inverted GI.
Price: About 35 baht for a dish of three items and rice.
Food: 10/10. Very good.

Good deal! - Edit
It was good food for 30/40 Baht. Only thing is, that I am very sensitive with hot food. So it is not the place to be every day for me. Otherwise I would go there more often! :) Give it a try!

Good cheap buffet - Edit
Good cheap buffet, healthier choices than other buffets, more greens and less oil. But be sure you go there at the right times, not 1 hour before it closes because there is usually nothing left...

Cons: If you go too late there is no food left

New Hours - Edit
Great news for fans of this wonderful little restaurant: Opening hours are now 8:00 AM to 2:00PM and 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Monday through Saturday. Most of these Buddhist vegetarian restaurants care closed for the dinner hour, so it will be nice to be able to enjoy the food here as an evening meal.
Read morePros: VERY inexpensive, Excellent Jay Khao Soi or Rice Noodle Soup, Delicious Thai Veg food with little MSG
Cons: Sometimes food selection is limited, Not open Sunday

Cheap and tasty little cafe - Edit
One of many of the Jay (Buddhist vegetarian) restaurants around CM (and Thailand). This one is just around the corner from my place so I've been there a few times. Be sure to go early as they run out of food quite quickly due to being a small place in a busy area.
Read moreSuper cheap at 30bht for a plate of rice with 2 servings from the buffet. If they have the pineapple stir fry, get that! They also do a great Jay Khao Soi upon request!
The owners are friendly and there's plenty of seating too, for the price you can't really go wrong.
Pros: cheap and tasty, friendly staff, easy to find
Cons: oily Jay food as usual, closes early sometimes, busy traffic area

Sang wiring Vegetarian, Chiang Mai - Edit
I've just eaten at this breakfast and lunch time joint. It was excellent.
Read moreThe noodle soup was a meal in itself packed with al sorts of things. They offer egg free noodles if you specify. Then there's a choice of dishes from the counter. Two soups and two mains plus won't coconut juice came into a great value 240 baht. Everything seems to be vegan apart from one of the noodles which has egg.
Service was polite and efficient.
Pros: Very vegan friendly, Great value, Tasty

Hi Stevie,
Read moreWhich noodle are you referring to that has egg? I spoke with the owner yesterday and he assure me that the yellow noodle used for Khow Soy doesn't contain any eggs.
Is this the shop near Wat Santitham? Based on you quoted it seems like you are somewhere else. They don't sale coconut juice.
