Big menu, great pricing, good servings. - Edit
Been here twice the last two days and really enjoyed.
Read moreBig menu, great pricing, good servings.
Me and friend both had fresh spring rolls and the combo menus (rice combined with small bowls of seitan, vegetables, tofu and soup) and were stuffed.
Appetizers and main menus plus a pot of tea for C$33,- total.
Really tasty!
Too full to order the sticky rice with mango as desert, so have to come back!

Fantastic lunch - Edit
I had about an hour and a half wait for a flight, so I rushed here to eat lunch. I was very glad I did, even though it was stressful getting back to the airport!

And I love soursop fruit smoothies!

fabulous food, gracious service - Edit
I've been hooked on this place ever since it opened. I have never had a dish I didn't love - it's almost impossible to pick favourites but the Hue-style noodle soup, coconut-curry pho, and yam-tempura fresh rolls really stand out. Lots of delicious and creative seitan, tofu, and konjac-based 'meats', as well as tons of options that don't try to replicate meat. I would eat here every day if I could :)

Great and cheap place - Edit
My friend brought me to this place, which I probably wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't have pointed it out. There are tonnes of vegan options, and what we got was really great (pad thai I think). The staff was lovely and it was a big space. If you want lovingly-prepared, good quality, and reasonably priced East-Asian food, I recommend coming here.

ordentliches Restaurant, gutes Essen - Edit
Das Lokal ist großzügig und sauber, wir wurden schnell bedient. Fast nur vegane Speisen, gute Auswahl, gute Preise. Das Essen selber war sehr gut, die Portionen ordentlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Veggie Vietnamese - Edit
I really enjoyed my meal at this calming, well-designed restaurant. I ordered a vegan crab roll as an appetizer and a veggie combo platter with a number of tasty tofu and seitan dishes.
Read moreThe service at the restaurant was sub par. It was difficult to get noticed by the waiter, and he disappeared a few times.
He did smile a lot and seemed kind.
If you want solid food with a good atmosphere and you don't care about service, then this is a solid choice.
Pros: tasty food , reasonable prices
Cons: poor service

PHENOMENAL - Edit
On vacation in TO for a week, we saw this place by accident on the way to Kensington Market, and couldn't resist supporting an establishment that proudly advertised vegan food. Once we tasted it, our plans for sampling new restaurants for every meal flew out the window--we ended up eating at Saigon Lotus four times in five days! The Steamed Rice Roll with Fresh Wild Mushroom and Steamed Rice Roll with Ground Vegan Meat and Portobello were to-die-for amazing. The vegan pho was the best we've ever had, and we tried several stir-fry dishes as well (lemongrass tofu, green curry tofu) that were fantastic. My omni sister-in-law devoured the clear noodle soup w/vegan crab. We were devastated to leave--now that we're 650 miles away, we're going to have to learn to cook Vietnamese food like this, or else relocate!

Great selection, good food - Edit
I ate here with my open minded omni friend. The food was pretty good and the ambiance was nice. The vegan pho was great and the "meat" it came with was super convincing and realistic.
Read moreUnfortunately the desserts only seem to be vegan but otherwise there are plenty of vegan app and entrées to choose from.
Pros: Affordable, Realistic tastes, great mock meats, Reasonably priced
Cons: No vegan desserts
