Great place with lots of food for less money! - Edit
Saigon Lotus is a great place to grab some fresh and nice food. The waiter was very nice and as an all vegan place they have an insane amount of options. The desserts are also very good - big recommandation!

Delicious and affordable food by the Kensington Market - Edit
What a pleasant surprise. The food was so delicious, the owner and waiter were delightful and the portions were very generous for such a reasonable price. We will definitely go back and recommend it to others. The mushroom rolls were wonderful and the veggie combo was substantial.

Good food, decent atmosphere - Edit
The restaurant is entirely vegan, which is wonderful. There’s lots to choose from on the menu. I had a vegan “meat” pho and steamed rice rolls with mushroom. The pho was pretty good—the broth is great, but the vegan “meat” isn’t too flavourful. The steamed rice rolls were great. I had a samosa and loved it.
Read moreThe restaurant is small but cosy. There is an outside patio, but it’s nothing special.
I spent about $35 on my meal. That covered my dinner (pho and rolls), and I got take out that I ate for lunch the next day. Great value, affordable restaurant. I plan to go back to Saigon Lotus.
Pros: Affordable, All vegan

Very happy to find some vegan Asian Cuisine. It’s the first time I tasted amazing tofu and seitan.
I also love it when I bump into friends and business owners of other vegan places there.
I’m getting hungry just writing this 😆
Pros: Love the Decore Buddha and Frog Statue, Affordable friendly service, Open Late

Lots of menu options with good prices. A variation of Asian dishes and the vegan combos are a great deal for people who can’t make a decision. Love that sweet and sour fried tofu!

Okay, wouldn’t return - Edit
We had:
Read moreSpicy lemongrass tofu-avocado salad rolls which were small, not normal salad roll size (about the size of one salad roll cut into four tiny pieces. They were neither spicy, nor lemongrassy, nor avocado-ee, nor salad rolly. Too small and while fresh tasting, had almost no flavour.
Pho vegetable tofu soup. This was the only good thing we had. The broth was good, the soup tasted very fresh and there was lots of greens in it, snap peas, cilantro, basil, etc.
Pan-fry Vegan Pho (not soup). This was recommended by the server, and it even looked pretty but I would never order it again. It sounded good in the description, but was more like a mish-mash of random leftovers from the kitchen. No obvious flavour except the fused noodles sitting a layer of sauce at the bottom.
Cons: Bathrooms are filthy

I still think about this place all the time! - Edit
We came across this place by accident, which was super lucky. Sometimes I find that certain places are just bad at vegan noodle soups, but the ones here are amazing!! I hope I can come back some time in the future!

meh - Edit
The food was awesome and they greeted me with a smile and sat me fast, but once that was done they just left me there. They didn’t follow up with me, I had to turn around and look lost for them to come back.

Get your faux Pho here - Edit
Enjoyed a bowl of faux pho with veggies & tofu here. Subtlety spiced broth (ginger, Chinese 5 spice?) that I could have eaten forever. Variety of veg (3 types mushroom, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choi, red onion) & tons of rice or mung bean noodles. The small was the size of a dinner plate — the large was a small pool. Steady stream of orders being picked up by delivery services & a good Monday crowd.

Not great - Edit
At the server’s recommendation I ordered the crab rolls and the vegan combo #1. The food was tired and un appetizing. I’m not one to leave food behind but such was the case tonight. It felt as if the food had been left over from the lunch hour service.

Right on the edge of Kensington and Chinatown, one of very few fully vegan/veggy pho hotspots. What a treat from the mains to deserts. Very reasonable prices and varied menu. Pho lovers special.

Wow delicious - Edit
Someone at the Toronto Veg Association referred us here and we were not disappointed. The vegan Pho alone is worth the 2 hour trip to the city just to eat that! It's that good. My husband is not fully vegan and he too thought the food was so delicious that he said he would return. There were Vietnamese, Thai and Indian dishes on the menu. The servings were large and the price very reasonable. Most important the food was wonderful. :)

Yummy and tons of options - Edit
Every time I eat at Saigon Lotus I order the ginger caramel vegan chicken (tofu and seitan with rice). Unfortunately this time it was pretty dry and didn’t come with a lot of sauce. The tofu nuggets were ok, a little flavorless but the tamarind sauce made up for it. I will say that I once ordered delivery from this restaurant and ordered my usual caramel vegan chicken dish and there was a piece of ACTUAL chicken in it (back then Saigon Lotus served meat). It most definitely was not tofu or seitan. That was a horrible experience but mistakes happen and I do generally like the food here so I am a returning customer.

It's great to see a place with so many vegan and vegetarian options! All of them sounded delicious but I opted for the recommended mushroom rice rolls and tofu vegetable pho. Both were absolutely great. The place itself is really cozy and the staff are very friendly.

Tasty, Inexpensive Vietnamese and Asian - Edit
I was happy to see that finally someone is serving Vegan Vietnamese, a notoriously meat heavy cuisine. There are other Thai and Chinese options as well. All the items I have tried are tasty and the portions are good. I only do take out however you can dine in as well, vibe and service is typical Toronto Chinatown (nothing fancy) but its a bit cleaner than average. Highly recommended.
