Yummy Hula Burger~ - Edit
Was tempted by other items on the menu, but went with the hula burger just because it seemed to be the favourite (I asked the waitress). The sweet potato fries almost stole the show though. Very nice!! Loved their reusable stainless steel straws too. Would love to eat here again.
Read morePros: Yummy! Lots of items to choose from, pleasant setting, delicious vegan food!!

Decent coffee here! Espresso w coconut milk the best I’ve found in the area. - Edit
Nice chill place for a coffee during non peak times. Food wise I’ve tried the nourish bowl- and cauliflower fritas so far l- sadly both really oily even the nourish bowl which was steamed vege... I think I just ordered poorly and will try again here. More expensive than trad Balinese but waaaay cheaper than Western vegan. Also beware service and gov tax PLUS ten percent for credit cards..!!!!

Amazing! Lives up to the reviews!! - Edit
Generous portions, timely service, eco-friendly napkins and straws, and fantastic food. Love the Mexican fusion dishes on their menu. I had the tempeh tacos and it was enough food for two meals. Delicious grilled tempeh and zucchini with a chipotle cream sauce and lots of fresh vegetables. Quick wifi too!!

Fancy and very good food - Edit
We went there on our last evening in bali and it was the perfect choice for our last meal. The staff was kind and the food was very very good. Unfortunately we went in the evening, so the photos I took are pretty bad, but I still upload them so you see some of their food options :)

Super hip vegan restaurant with so many options using local ingredients. Many ideas were western such as a burrito with Indonesian ingredients. For the high quality the prices were super reasonable. Loved the bowls and burritos

Best burger ever - Edit
I got nothing bad to say about this place. Perhaps service could be a little more proactive but the food is great and the interior nice. The vegan burger made from mung beans is delicious - although not based on soy or wheat protein. And the sauce they put on the salad is divine!

I DREAM and DROOL for this place! Must know the insider tips - Edit
ok, here's the thing - you have to know WHAT to order here in order to have your mind blown. Any reviews that aren't stellar just didn't order the right thing.
Read moreWhen I first got to Ubud no less than 20 people all told me to order the same thing at Sage, and they were practically frothing at the mouth when describing it, so i finally came to try it for myself.
Here are the insider gems -
1. The Kitchari burger ... **replace the bun with the plantain strips*** ... add hot sauce ... replace fries with sweet potato fries. (The plantain "bun" can't be picked up and eaten, but if you eat it with a knife and fork, it's like creamy dreamy magical orgasms in your mouth. That's just real. And the hot sauce adds a flavor to die for)
2. The jackfruit buritto - as a bowl ... (minus the wrapper) ... add extra sauce and add an extra kitchari burger patty on top.
I dream about these two things. If I had to pick one i'd say the kitchari burger for the win.
The vibe in the restaurant is also super super magical and modern, love it
Pros: Kitchari burger epicness, Jackfruit epicness, vibe
Cons: they use white sugar in some of their desserts

super cute restaurant and good food - Edit
The place is extremely cute, very clean and comfortable (pillows galore)! The food was quite good but we didn't like everything we got and we've had better in Bali at better price. Still, recommend trying it if you're in the area - the burger was really good!

Fancy Feast - Edit
This place feels very trendy and fancy. There are lots of great options (all vegan) and they all look beautiful. We got a tofu sandwich (which was pretty good, but I could easily make that at home), the tempeh bacon caesar salad, and the tempeh buffalo wings. Also, we got the guava kombucha and it was hella good! Overall, great place. Good food and great atmosphere.
Read morePros: Great atmosphere. Nice lighting. Mellow people., Creative combinations of ingredients for new food , Friendly and attentive wait staff.

2 stars since 0 does not exist - Edit
I have had many different opportunities eating food from across the globe. And I never would give a vegan restaurant a review which is bad. But trust me all the hype of this place is just a blow off.
Read moreSo let me start with the drinks, had some strange watermelon fizz which tasted like sparkling water with watermelon hint. The cauliflower frittata was flowing with lot of oil. And the tempeh buffalo wings had enough oil to maybe make someone like me feel bloated and I eat greasy and I usually love it. Their lone bla bla sadwich had tofu which was super salty that I had to exchange it. For a burrito with jack fruit which tasted like sand. Overall food and service got to change. So their habit of giving back the right change.
Pros: nice location
Cons: tastes bad, very expensive, electricity goes off

So delicious! - Edit
I wish that I'd had the chance to eat here more than once! I have an allergy to chilli, peppers and paprika so a lot of the Mexican inspired menu was out for me but the staff knew what was in each dish and were able to make some modifications. The tempeh sandwich I tried was perfect and the coconut cake was excellent. My husband ordered a trio of small plates which looked fantastic.

Fantastic flavorful vegan food! - Edit
I love everything about this place from the light airy feel of the interior to the comfy cushioned booths. The food was perfectly prepared and really tasty. Shared the burger and one of the daily specials (creamy sauce with tempeh and mushrooms). Lots of nice vegan desserts on offer! We chose chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream which did not disappoint. Everything SO good. Here's a tip: those vegan cookies at the register? Buy them.

Always awesome - Edit
One of my absolutely favourite restaurants in the Ubud area. I don't know what they do with their tofu but I love it and often order extra of it as a side. When they have time they offer home delivery to some locations in the area (call and ask). Wifi and English skills are not good - which is the case basically everywhere on Bali.
