Perfect!

Fun restaraunt! A slightly upscale pizza parlor with food for vegans and non-vegans alike! The gluten-free crust is crispy and flavorful. I love that they even have packaged vegan treats! It's the not the cheapest vegan pizza option (as Bravo's in Atascadero has a vegan crust), but it's delicious!

Pros: vegan and non-vegan food, lively interior, right o

Cons: Not extremely cheap.... but not too much for what

Rustic Fire Veggie

I loved the pizza from Rustic Fire! I ordered the Rustic Fire Veggie, with vegan cheese only, on the Neapolitan crust (extra thin & crispy). It was delicious, thin, and crispy, even after picking up and taking back to our hotel. Some don’t like vegan cheese, but I found it to be incredibly creamy and tasty. I would order from here again!

Pros: Creamy, Thin, Crispy

Margherita Pizza

We loved that they had vegan 🌱 cheese but are not fans of Daiya. The pizza was beautiful and they didn’t skimp on the basil!🌿

Good Vegan Options, Sensible Low-Waste Outdoor Dining

This was my first restaurant experience while traveling during the pandemic. I saw the previous reviews for Rustic Fire, and agreed with them: this place has good options for vegans!

I got their Hawaiian pizza with their vegan cheese (which has coconut oil in it, good to know if you have coconut allergies), and asked for no ham or cow-cheese on my half. Their Hawaiian has cashews in it, as well as pineapple. My sweetheart eats meat, and I decided to order a large pizza half vegan (vegan cheese, no meat, no cow cheese), half with meat, to attempt a lower-waste / more price-efficient solution. They didn't charge us extra for doing half/half! We also asked for jalapeños on top (staff asked if we wanted pickled or fresh; we did fresh! v. hot!) Turns out they have a secret menu, and on it Hawaiian with jalapeños is a Hawaiian Volcano!

They were open for outdoor dining. We noticed some folks at other tables outside sitting unmasked even when not eating food / hanging out. Fortunately staff is diligently wearing their masks, and there's a big plexiglass protecting staff indoors from customers. Their washrooms were clean and easy to use. (I used the women's washroom; my sweetie waited for the men's later, but the person using it was taking a while, so he went to a nearby spot for coffee and washroom use!)

I really appreciated and loved the low-waste way our food was brought to us. (First: bring your own bottle / glass if you want water! We asked for tap water when ordering and were given two clear plastic #1 PET cups, and shown to two jugs of ice water, one with lemon in, which we filled our cups with. I am also trying to cut back on plastic waste, and realized bringing your own reusable water bottle is a good way to go here. Unfortunately, the lemon water tasted off, so we poured it out at our table, and I fetched my growler of East Bay tap water to fill our cups.) The pizza came out to us on a tin pizza tray, lined in parchment paper. The staff had carefully separated the half with meat from the half that was vegan, which I so appreciated. We were given thick paper plates, which are durable and much more reusable than the flimsy paper kind. We got a large pizza, and it was perfect for 2 people. One small slice of ham got on my side of the pizza, but I saw it easily, and my sweetheart ate it. Their Hawaiian pizza w/ cashews was AMAZING, NY style, low tomato sauce, generous toppings. Plates+parchment=easy take-away wrap; great heated up the next morning!

Pros: Vegan cheese available, No extra charge for making half of pizza vegan, Clever pizza combo: Hawaiian with cashews!

Cons: use of plastic cups for drinking, customers outside not wearing masks, would love to know what the secret menu is!

Great vegan pizza

We were passing through Paso Robles and were pleasantly surprised to find this place. They have vegan cheese and lots of veggies to choose from. The service was excellent, pizza was yummy and it was really clean. Hand sanitizers on all the tables inside (a must for these times)! We ended up stopping here on our way back through again.

Pros: Vegan cheese, Create your own pizza

Great!

I really liked it. You order at the counter. I was worried they wouldn’t be very knowledgeable about what was vegan (sauces, salad dressing, crust, etc). Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They also have local wine and a decent beer selection. I had the Rustic Veggie with vegan cheese and we had the Greek salad with cheese and croutons on the side (for my friend). The balsamic was vegan. Recommend!

Pros: Vegan cheese , Knowledgeable and helpful staff, Good beer and wine selection

Outstanding!!!!!!

Great pizza! Pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven so it has a smoky distinct flavor. Ordered veggie pizza which was piled high with fresh veggies. Friendly and fast service! I'll be back!

Pros: Service

vegan and Gluten Free

Great pizza. Unlike other pizza restaurants, the gluten free and vegan crust does not add additional costs and does not limit the pizza size. Staff was very welcoming. Highly recommended. Has a nice feel. Vegan and gluten free cheese also.

Pros: gluten and vegan free, no additional cost for gluten free, no size limitations for gluten free

Cons: none

THEY MAKE GREAT VEGAN PIZZA

I'm from out of town but have been staying around the area for a couple of weeks and have been here two times and plan on coming by again tomorrow! They have gluten free crust that does not contain eggs, whey or dairy and have diaya vegan cheese! I usually choose the make your own pizza option and they really make a great vegan pizza. I've had another place's pizza out here while on vacation that also had diaya cheese and it sucked! This place is awesome!

Pros: vegan cheese without lactose or casin, vegan gluten free crust , omni family can have their normal options

Vegan Pizza!

This is one of the few places along the route from SF to LA that has vegan options. It is NOT a vegan or veg restaurant, however there are at least three items on the menu which are vegan or can be veganized. Roasted veggie sandwich (skip the cheese), salad, and pizza. The veggie pizza is very good and they have Daiya vegan cheese. It's not on the menu-- you have to ask for it. Also, beer and wine available. For dessert, there is strawberry sorbet.

Pros: Yummy pizza, Good value

Cons: TVs at every table
