Very well cooked. Good prices. English speaking smiley service. - Edit
Good meal flavouring, before midday good selection of pre-cooked dishes. Service will tell you if something costs more (like 20baht for delicious sausage). You can have hot soups as well.

Tasty and cheap - Edit
Arrived here not long after midday and the buffet was already finished so we had Tom Yum noodle soup instead. It was a good portion size for only 30 baht. It wasnt outstanding in terms of flavour but still good.

Great value - Edit
Very relaxed local restaurant, with delicious food for a great price. 30bht for a portion of rice and two toppings of your choice. Friendly staff, the young lady spoke very good English and was helpful in letting us know which dishes were vegan friendly. A must visit.

Good place but.... - Edit
Overall a nice place and probably the cosiest of the veg places in the area. The pre cooked food is usually good and certainly not expensive - 2 dishes on rice 30Baht.

Last time I visited Hua Hin I got what was probably the stingiest serving of food I have ever received in Thailand. After the woman dribbled a tiny amount of one choice onto the rice, I stared in disbelief :)
Not so bad this trip, but portions aren't generous. Usually two servings on rice does me, but not here.

poor taste and using plastic bowls/plates - Edit
I went to the place at 11 a.m food is already quite empty in each pot. The lady talked not very nice to us as well. I chose one of the curry ( basically only soup left in the pot ) it costed 30 baht ( separately charged for rice ) It was very salty with only a few pieces of vegetable, not suitable with the price.
Read moreMy friends tried noodle soup which they put only bean sprouts, no other vegetables in it, but taste was ok.
They use only plastic containers which I do mind for the hot food. Disappointed and never go back this place again.

Best flavor in town, with plenty of greens - Edit
Ruean Thong serves a good spread of vegan items (on this visit, at least, none of the dishes on offer contained egg). The flavors took first prize among the local veg eateries, tied with the vegan place just a block up the street, but here there are more greens, which we appreciate. If your appetite is on the small side, you might fill up for 25-30 baht, bit for me it took two plates (they're small) and 80 baht. The proprietor speaks some English. Enjoy!

Best in Hua Hin - Edit
After trying most of the little veg*n eateries in Soi Phrom-Suke (off Hua Hin Soi 70), this was by far my favourite. No noodle soups on any of the three days we visited, but some very tasty (and spicy) red coconut cream curries.

Cheap and pure vegetarian or vegan - Edit
Talked to the owner and found that they have been having this business for years. Opens from 6am to 3pm everyday. It's opposite SCB Bank and KrungThai Bank, in the middle of Dechanuchit road or Hua Hin 70 alley. Just round the corner.

cheap and good Thai buffet food - Edit
Great choice for a quick lunch in Hua Hin.
Read moreThe buffet offers 6-8 meal options served with rice. Some spicy, some not. We visited 3 days in a row, and found pretty much the same buffet choices every day. The yellow veg curry tastes heavenly, but burns like hell ;) for 25 Bt/plate it is a real bargain!
Come early to make sure all options are still available!
Pros: very cheap and good food, easy to find
Cons: same buffet options every day

good vegan Buffett - Edit
Mock meats and noodle / rice dishes. Sort of a "hole in the wall" set up but the food is excellent. Very spicy! Little English spoken but enough to get by, and you can buy some little vegan treats they pack up to go! The same as the other vegan Buffett near by basically.
