Carbonara & Greek sallad - Edit
We had the vegan carbonara and Greek salad together with two desserts. I didn't at all expect these portion sizes so was super baffled when a round mini cheese cake á 4 persons, came in for 8ish euro. The pastas were also enormous and the salad was for a whole family (and we were just 2 so couldn't finish). I think the quality of the food was amazing and I'm happy to be returning to Thessaloniki after so many years with places like roots on the map.

Every time we visit greece and Thessaloniki from germany over the last years we also eat at rOOTS. This was our 4th or 5th visit and we (vegan and part time vegetarian) were satisfied every single time.

We only went for desert and got the cheesecake and the chocolate milefeulle with strawberry sauce, both vegan of course. Both were delicious and especially the cheesecake was pretty big-perfect for sharing. Smoothie was good too.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! We had the vegan gyros and falafel which were so good! The menu is not too big but there are still enough options for everyone. The food is vegan unless stated as vegetarian (only a few options). Also, the restaurant itself and the ambience are nice. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I can’t recommend this enough!

Most of the food is vegan, and the vegetarian options are clearly marked. We tried a beetroot salad, falafel, a burger, vegan gyros and cheesecake for dessert. All were above the ordinary, and we will surely return.
