Pedí unas Ghyosas y un arroz con verduras BBQ, setas y frutas. Las Ghyosas estaban muy babosas pero el relleno en cambio estaba fatal! Sabía todo a salsa soya y la presentación del plato le falta toda la creatividad, no tomé fotos, pero vienen unas ghyosas en un plato megro con salsa café que además sabía a sal, a nada más! La sensación al comerlas es más babosa de lo normal, y el relleno no tiene sabor.

La comida asiática, sea vegana o no, trae texturas en el mismo plato, variedad de sabores y sensaciones, trae aromas y gustos diversos en un solo bocado. Mi sensación es que no hay un chef detrás! Lo siento pero no lo aconsejo! Muy deficiente!

They have outstanding vegan sushi rolls, and allow for orders for individuals and groups (slight discount on the price). The dessert was adequately good. I ordered the yakisoba noodles and they were very greasy, so I can't recommend those.

We had the wild mushrooms, chickpea and kimchiMe sushis with a side of gyoza. Everything was beyond tasteful. I would ask the gyoza sauce on the side next time because it was very salty, but besides that it was amazing.

You wouldn't say so from the front entrance, but it is quite a large place (deep, and the actual restaurant room is at the back). High ceilings, spacious.

We had some starters (fried tofu, broccoli popcorn and crepes Okomiyaki) and the sushi suggestion (20 pieces, 35€) to share with two, which we found was a more than enough portion.
The starters were great. Some of the sushi were better than the other, but that is more a matter of personal taste.
Although we were quite stuffed, we did want to try dessert; banana pancakes and vegan cheesecake.
Everything was also very stylishly presented. It all comes at a price though: 70€ for our dinner, with two juices to drink). All in all, it was worth it.
Very friendly waiter.
Toilets clean. Didn't spot an accessible toilet (everything was on ground floor and accessible).

When we first arrived to Roots and Rolls we were greeted by extremely friendly owners, a lovely, relaxed and sophisticated interior, and an extensive range of Asian fusion vegan dishes! The sushi was incredible, and looked almost too good to eat! The ramen was equally tasty, and was hearty and flavourful. I would 100% recommend Roots and Rolls for anyone visiting Barcelona.

The food here is extremely well prepared and not quite as expensive as people say in reviews. The problem we had was that all of the food is bland, and the ramen I ordered was sweet!😜Even the lentil soup-type dish my friend had was sweetened😜The sweetness not only ruins the taste, but it made us both feel nauseas afterward.
